Yeah it's either/or for me as well with Paul Kelly and The Drones. To be fair, I'm more keen to see the former - only caught the tail-end of his Leonard Cohen support slot...

Can't believe I only discovered The Kills and M83 when they were announced gigs down here, should be a great start to next week!

Hey mate, thanks for joining the 'Ed Kuepper' group! Since we have super compatibility, I'll have to check out Angus and Julia Stone, which gets the top spot in your charts. Cheers.

They're one of my favourites, but so hard to acquire! I think they're one of Flying Nun's best, bar The Clean and a few others...

Yes I love it. I picked up Intermission a few months ago, Robert Forster and Grant McLennan. Good stuff

Agreed. Alas, I still haven't had the opportunity to experience their live show. That's a pretty cool trick subscriber....reverse spying, or just reciprocating I guess :D You work for Faster Louder?

This week we are attenuating attentions towards a deconstruction of twelve-string guitar techniques that facilitate Oriental, American Indian and Hindu textures and their concomitant tunings. Specifically, the playing that has its naissance in the artistic vision of Robbie Basho, with which he developed his own musical universe to marry the spirit of Eastern philosophies with Western folk and classical traditions. We are also listening to Peter Walker, James Blackshaw and, for his metronomic consistency and command of the blues language, Fred Gerlach. I do not scrobble my own musics.

It sure was! Though I did enjoy the later acts more than the afternoon ones, The Hives especially. Unfortunately only got to see 2 songs of Tegan and Sara which was a shame so I'll have to catch them next time, hopefully in a more intimate venue. That first queue up was ridiculous, food and drink queues too. Lucky I brought in some contraband Subway, otherwise I would have been starving!
