Not sure what my favourite Vsnares track is, i'm still working my way through the back catalogue and with each album comes a new favourite. Just awesome stuff. Been listening to lights out asia a lot recently, i have to say you were right in recommending that album. It has probably got me through my last assignment, sheer brilliance. Favourite track is prob the second one. Xanopticon are pretty awesome as well, the darker sound is cool though there's not as much variation as some of Vsnares of squarepusher's stuff. I think I may have been converted onto 'electronic' music as it were. I can't imagine how hard it must be to get an idea for a sound in your head and get a computer to make it for you, there's just so many variables.

That song you sent is Epic, really good. I've got a thing for long songs as well because they become more of a 'piece of music' if that makes sense. Speakers Loud you say? You mean to say they have a quite setting as well, i can't say i've ever noticed! i'm quite a fan of in-ear phones for this kind of music as well cus it get right inside your head, i'm a bit of an audiophile on the quiet.

I will laconically write up a few artists: the glitchtastic atmospheric Kangding Ray, quirky Boxcutter (ah, Glyphic LP is some mindblowing crossover between dubstep, jazz-turntablism and IDM), the industrial Legion of Two and some Finnish freak folk crossing over quite a few musical genres - Paavoharju (especially their 'Laulu Laakson Kukista').
