Ha, yeah the play count insanity was a result of a crazy software glitch on the iPod scrobbler. All of a sudden it said 2,000 tracks scrobbled when it only should have scrobbled a couple hundred ... and I'm too lazy to go in and manually fix 2,600 error scrobbles. Oh and I think I was getting a little wedding'd out as far as Twitter goes. Not that I'm anything less than super happy for you, but I have a bachelor lifestyle I need to maintain, ya know ;) You crazy kids tied the knot, yes? How's the wedding tweet count these days?

275 plays no good? I definitely like the dude a lot, just hasn't added up next to my other top artists I guess. If it helps, seeing him open solo acoustic for Tegs & Smush was one of my favorite concerts of last 2008...

Track 1 on Mumford & Sons is wonderful. The rest of the album had me wondering if Dave Matthews had a secret side project going. Not like he's trying or anything, but the dude's voice is crazy Dave-like at times. Uncanny Dave-like.

i'm ladybuginblazes on IB. i figured we should probably be friends since we both believe in neko case, and apparently enough bands to warrant a "very high" compatibility!

Finally rolling through the Tina Dico (US) / Tina Dickow (DK) you sent a while back. Not bad at all. Moody, emotional, sorta dark. Into it. Did I send you Frightened Rabbit? Pretty intense lyrics mixed with a thick accent like your boys from Nizlopi.

thanks for the tip, i will definitely do that. btw, i was creepin' in your library and noticed you don't seem to have ben folds' first solo CD or any ben folds five -- would you be interested? both are amazing.

okay, now it's my turn to do some recommending: matt pond pa, youth group, KATE NASH (she is by far my favorite), the kooks, rhett miller, the hold steady, and right now i am obsessed with the ting tings -- very poppy/dance-oriented, so much fun.

thanks. i know some T&S and have been meaning to listen to city and colour for a while, people keep telling me to check them out, i guess i should! i noticed you listen to michael mazochi -- he went to cortland, right? a friend of mine that went there put one of his songs, "holiday," on a mix for me a couple years ago and i love it.

Yeah, I'm pretty indie. I think I like Last FM more than Pandora. It seems they do a really good job of "Similar Artists". There is so much good music I've never heard of.

I use this program called scrobblepod to record iPod tunes to last.fm and it went crazy one day. Turned 10 Phoenix plays into hundreds.

self proclaimed music addict

"this love for music...makes me an addict, and now I wake up at 6:30, just to feed my habit" - Nizlopi

"I hope it's the kind of second side that he can listen to whenever he drives alone and feel like he belongs to something whenever he's sad. I hope it can be that for him." - The Perks of Being a Wallflower

"A couple of times a year I make myself a tape to play in the car, a tape full of all the new songs I've loved over the previous few months, and every time I finish one I can't believe that there'll be another. Yet there always is, and I can't wait for the next one; you need only a few hundred more things like that, and you've got a life worth living." - N. Hornby
