Well, I love the 70's of Tangerine Dream except the very early days with too many Krautrock aka Amon Düül 2 and the heavy Hendrix-guitars included (like nowadays, too), but for me the 80's have been still great until "Optical Race" ... Well, I like Peter Baumann, he's a nice man on the buttons, but a great piano player like Johannes is much better ...

Well, yes, "Poland" is a real great record (and concert), but for me it's still a mixture between the three records published right before the concert, so "Hyperborea" and "Tangram" and the one named "Quichotte" which later was published / re-released as "Pergamon" ... That's a whole lot of ELO scrobbling. I can't say I'm fan, but that sort of persistence is probably something to be admired. Also, Giorgio Moroder! I love his music from Midnight Express. Have you No. 1 in Heaven, the album he made with Sparks? It's a real masterpiece of 1970s electronic music.
