well I reckon you tried to shout at ObituaryOfDeath instead of me but hey, whatever, I'll name some bands anyway.^^ If you're going for melodic death metal, check out arch enemy, god dethroned, dark tranquillity and amon amarth if you don't already know them (I was too lazy to check your top bands^^) and if you want to check out some really good "old school"/kick ass/groovy as fuck death metal then check out bolt thrower (love them) and obituary (again: if you don't already know them)....have fun ;)

Try melodic death metal. Start with the latest album from In Flames which is a bit more easy then maybe work your way to Dark Tranquility and Children Of Bodom. Norther's great too. Hope it helps xD!

Sobre mim
I guess you could consider me an "outsider" in the world of music. I don't like mainstream music, I hate it profusely, profoundly and have an overall hatred of almost every single "new" mainstream song on the radio. I could go into so much detail why mainstream artists have no talent and are yet so popular, but i have a lot of better things to do, like drum. I make music, by drum or by keyboard, I hope to make money and make music, but not to gain popularity.
That's why I listen to Dragonland, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Phish, Lotus, the REAL popular music that actually sounds like the artists put a lot of work into it. I also take appreciation into classic rock, though, like AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, the Stones, The Who and other stuff. I'm also a big fan of power metal like Rhapsody (Of Fire), Fairyland, Hammerfall, Blind Guardian, Derdian, Skiltron and others, while my obsession with progressive rock and metal continues from Rush to Glass Hammer to The Flower Kings to Threshold and a lot more. I also like certain bands of metalcore, too.
I'm a great conversation. I'm no douchebag like you've seen at your school or on other forums or places like this. I understand about the big and small pictures. (That's why I listen to progressive rock "The thinking man's music.") Ok, so I also have a HUGE imagination, but that's not important. Last.fm is a place to make friends with similar tastes in music, and it does a great job at it! I can be your friend if you're just that type of person.
I'm usually on regularly, so if there's anything you want to talk about, shoot. Go ahead. I'll listen.
