Have you seen the documentary about 'The Lonesome Crowded West' by Modest Mouse yet? It's a really interesting video and pretty well-made. Click here if you haven't seen it yet. I recommend watching it. :3

Tea was exactly the drink I was thinking of -- must be hivemind. I would love to join you at your tea party -- will it be something like this? So you're a pretty casual typa gal' hay? (;

Lol, ikr -- yeah, I did make it ^^ Well, you know, i'm not really allowed to tell anyone this, but i'm actually a part of one of those weirdly friendly cults comprised of people who compose ambient and meditative music. I use a master-hummer. If they found out I was telling you this, they would surely sacrifice me to our deity: Anca. Hmm, I don't think i'm tabula rasa now, but it would be a very weird experience, which we wouldn't even realise for what it is, if our minds were to become tabula rasa at some point during our life. Starting again; but starting old? What a horrible thought.

A Clockwork Orange is like, one of dabest movies evar. Watching it at the moment o/ Your message has influenced my life. It would be like one of the most terrible things ever to be conditioned to feel sick and fearful when listening to Beethoven. I'm glad my failure made you feel better - don't judge my pasta bricks though :< I'd rather eat a pasta brick than pasta slime. A fortress would be pretty awesome; was also thinkin' of that -- that's where the moat idea came from. At least one could withstand a siege though - with regards to the starvation aspect of it. But then you'd eat away your defenses; so, in order to survive one aspect of impending death, you open yourself up to another. Oh, horrid fate.

I always try anything someone else sends, but the one with all the stylistics and people around gives me the most. I can appreciate many, but only this music feels special. I don't think I miss anything, every music should last forever. And thanks, I am wannabe poet, but I don't follow any conventions, coming up with something weird, yet trying to squeeze the most of words.

Genres and bands told me so :p I feel the need to search too, but I revolve around one genre mostly, mostly because I find people there my soulmates. I listen to dark music because my character has specific needs, mostly fitting into what that music represents itself.

Ol' Ludwig van ftw. Also, you're now not the only person on earth to have failed at cooking pasta. However, mine didn't turn into paste, but rather, a brick. This discovery may lead to the construction of a pasta house with a cheese roof and a ketchup moat. People might even say that the house was constructed with good taste in mind.

And they are more than you think. Let's change the subject. As you can see, I am listener of pretty intense and darkened music. What can you say about your need to listen to peaceful and light music? Our sights seem similar, yet musical tastes are very diverted.

It may be just you, because within the circle of my musical taste there is plenty of people listening and making that music, who I can trust. It's all matter of setting by the way, finding the place of yourself. ; I don't want "normal", because one of standards of being normal is acceptance, mostly of the situation, that I find not ultimately good for us, people. No one also said, that "being normal" or "fitting to the majority" (synonyms) is an advantage. To my mind, being different, not for the price of sanity, doing the opposite, but being different thinking on its own, valuing solutions considered as better is an advantage of one.

I agree, I don't want to lose it :) Normality is a myth, behavior desired by someone important. "I don't trust people who can look and act normally in this world." is a nice quote. 12 Monkeys is my favourite movie.

You're right as long we perceive it as the cause of "normal behavior". All people have schizophrenic tendencies, sudden cutting the world of imagination would drive us insane, but slowly it's up to achieve, I believe. By the way, it's a quote from 12 Monkeys movie.

How's life in Bosnia and Herzegovina? I wonder if people who live in that country say the whole name out when they're telling someone which country they live, or whether they say either Bosnia or Herzegovina depending on which part they live in. Must be tiresome to say the whole name out loud, especially if you meet a lot of new people on one occasion and they all ask you where you're from individually.

Hahah, I know right - it'd be nice if like, you could have a conversation with it, but if all it did was laugh or cry and whisper horrible things at night, then i'd rather not have a face on the back of my head. What if you mistakenly fell asleep on your back (as impossible as that may be) and you smothered your back face to death - would you die as well? or would you have to then carry around a dead face on the back of your head for the rest of your life? If I saw someone with two faces walking towards me, I would probably turn around and walk away, really fast - not quite running though. I wonder if that’s where J.K. Rowling got the idea for Professor Quirrell. Maybe it was because of the Industrial Age or something, all the added pollutants causing people to get all genetically messed up – but I’m pretty sure at least some of them were made up. Apparently it was a ‘tranquilizing’ chair used to immobilize a patient (mostly people with mental disorders) until they had 'calmed down'.

You and your myriad of mysterious, yet remarkably resourceful, sources strike once again… – it seems that you’ll just have to become a part of the world takeover group, can’t be having any more leaks ;} Well, hordes of Nazi’s marching throughout the world, most likely unopposed by any single force could be cause for worry; but I suppose it wouldn’t have affected us too much – assuming that you’re not a Jew – and seeing as your country was on the Axis side (until you started losing ;p), and my patriarchal family is German. We probably still wouldn’t have existed though, like you said, or at least be the same as we are today, too many different choices would have been made. The machinery is meant to deceive people by appearing to be old and therefore outdated, however, the actual engineering of the machines is far beyond what we are able to produce at this moment in time; kinda similar to the whole Egyptian pyramids thing – Nazi aliens? And, ohyou.jpg, feelings over totally overrated :>

Who told you about the global mind control machine? And where did you get that photograph? It seems I have a leak in my metaphorical bucket. But, I suppose now that the secrets 'out of the bag', I may as well let you let you in on it. Basically, we're in the starting stages of recording all human senses at enhanced levels, using machines recently discovered, that were designed by Nazi scientists in the war, such as the one in the photo you have, and this one. Because this technology was only developed towards the end of the war, the scientists didn't manage to actually complete it - which is probably a good thing; imagine endless legions of completely obedient Nazi soldiers. In a sense you could say I am a robot, but i'm more like a bio-bot. You see, when I was 16, I was in a near-fatal car-accident and my body was smashed and broken utterly. Long story short - my consciousness was uploaded into a computer, that''s why I only ever type.

Why do you feel life in Romania is unfortunate? I must admit, rather shamefully, that I know very little at all about Romania. I don't even know the name of it's capital city... I apologise. I hope you can enlighten me. Greetings Oana, that's a lovely name, I've not met anybody with your name before, how is it pronounced? "O - ah - na"? I'm afraid I've misled you there... I actually live in England. I often dream of living in Russia, in St. Petersburg, but alas, it remains only a dream. I cannot speak one word of Russian... only extremely broken French. You speak English extremely well indeed.

I am very glad indeed. It's rare to find somebody who enjoys both the beauty of Phil's music and that of Chopin, Satie and Beethoven as well. May I ask your name? I am called Simon, as you've no doubt guessed. Where is it you live? I recall a few of your photographs having been taken in Romania... do you live there?

Ah okay, so it’s more like an ‘us’ and ‘them’ type of distinction; I totally get that, I mean, I’m human, a non-wizard human ((at the moment) I await the day when I can be the apprentice to the great and powerful w)) and I refer to the general masses as ‘humans’, as if I were not one of them - even though I’m quite sure that, genetically, I am. It’s just that one doesn’t want the negative labels that come with being in that generalised ‘human’ group given to oneself, even if they are true. I got very excited when you said that there is a dark side for the wizards (I’ve always thought that the ‘bad’ side was way cooler than the ‘good’ side) but I’m not too keen on the idea of serving under someone, but, if they were to gain your trust, you might be able to find and exploit their weakness and make it serve you instead – but the plan would have to be executed perfectly, if they are as powerful as you say, or else your magical existence would be snuffed out - a most unfortunate situation.

I’ve always thought of cheating as sort of okay, as long as you don’t get caught, that is; but, with the prospective punishment of being handed over to humans and then being burnt alive, I would reconsider doing the said cheat – not too keen on following my old grandmothers fiery demise. The way you classify yourself as a wizard, and then non wizards as ‘humans’, does that mean that wizards are different to normal humans – other than having the ability to cast spells? Do you guise have part demon blood in you or something? Always wondered about that legitimacy of those myths. Well, if I wasn’t sold on leading a life of wizardry before, the fact that you can catch spirits almost like one would catch a pokemon... that would do it. Your world, a world with magic in it, seems to incorporate everything I would want mine, if I could shape and alter it, to be. So if you were to bait someone in attacking you first, and they did, you could destroy them without consequences? I like this.

Yeah, I suppose you wouldn’t even consider undergoing this test if you weren’t prepared for any eventuality. As for the surprising spirit situation; maybe there’s some way you can enhance your senses or something, you know, like in all those games – Eagles Visions, Bulls Strength and all that; not that I’m implying that what you’re doing is in any way a game. You mean to say that those who were our enemies in life remain so-inclined in the afterlife? Maybe I should change my plans that, so unfortunately, lead to the lethal demise of so many of my enemies; I wouldn’t want them somehow merging together into one super spirit with the soul intent of destroying me – or maybe I could somehow capture it and harness it’s power; are you allowed to?. I am quite set on it, I must say – I’m glad you think I’ve got what it takes, definitely makes me feel better about my magical chances. There is n't much I wouldn’t be willing to sacrifice, I mean, where’s the fun in doing something that’s easy?

That does sound very exciting; I would totally put myself in a life or death situation for a chance to enter a world with magic in it. I hope that you don’t feel the need to restrain yourself and will use the full force of your powers that are the fruit of those long years of study and practice – there is nothing quite as awe inspiring as witnessing wave upon wave of calculated destruction. Worse than the Tikbalang, you say? This must be a most brutal of tests. 5 meters should give you ample time to conjure a massive wall of flames around you, but I suppose that spirits would be immune to such earthly elements – are those spirits the would-be wizards who tried and failed, where you, hopefully, will be triumphant? It would be a terrible thing indeed for you to have to battle a creature shifted into your cat, but at least it would be small, so you can like, squash it. The title of First Apprentice does have a rather good sound to it, I could definitely get used to it. :>

I’ve suspected as much for some time, and now I have irrefutable proof – the detailed picture of you caught in the very act of casting your spells. The diversions you set up worked well, but they could n’t have lasted forever. I’m sorry to hear that you don’t have much time for your hobbies these days, but then again, I assume, if you were to lose this most important of battles, the amount of time you’ll have will be, as they say, cut short. I don’t know if you’re allowed to answer this, but, whom, or what, will you be battling? Could it be a Tikbalang? As for how I knew, or rather, suspected, my great-great-great² grandmother , who, most tragically, was burned alive at the stake under suspicion of being a Wiccan witch, which she was, visited me in my dream the other night and said to me: you must believe. I’m sure she said more, but dream recall has never been my strong point. Teach me your wizard-like ways!

I like your interpretation more; a spaceship in outer space flying through some type of nebula pattern is much more exciting than a crack in a rock. Yeah, that pretty much is what it means, although I didn't really consider the mask aspect of it until you asked. It just captured my attention because lately I just seem to feel indifference towards a lot of things - maybe it's just heightened objectivity :P It sucks that we can never quite get what we imagined the outcome of something to be, but your pic did come out pretty well imo - 10th time lucky :]

I'm really not too sure; it sort of looks like the sun or some bright light is shining through some small crack - but you can't really see much detail in the squashed and distorted version that is the result of a last.fm upload. Here's a bigger pic. It's supposed to be a 'mask of indifference', found the term on some random internet escapade and then found the pic. Your profile pic is pretty cool, gotta love motion shots ;p - is it you or just some pic you found? :>
