I also can understand some German, I used to try and teach myself but if you don't use it you forget... German history is also very interesting, I think the language sounds awesome (although I know a lot of people who say it sounds ugly), the history is interesting, they've contributed so much to science, philosophy, music... Yeah. Damn, I wish I had of had parents like that. It's very difficult being a bright child growing up in an uneducated family (my father is basically illiterate and my mother is just an idiot). I was always very curious and just wanted to learn learn learn. But that was mostly ignored. And I can't talk about a lot of things because no-one shares my interest for knowledge. You are very fortunate. Know what you wanna study at University?

That's an interesting language to want to learn. Quite peculiar. But I suppose I've also wanted to learn a couple scandinavian languages that aren't very widely spoken as well. Only because I listen to music in the language. That's a very young age to start reading philosophy! I'd be surprised if I actually knew what philosophy was at age 13, lol. All I did was play videogames. I assume you must have quite educated parents and so you had access to these types of books. Or simple, you just are more awesome than me or something...

Oh. Just that if you were in Australia you'd still be in highschool. We only have primary school, high school and university. That's cool you got to go to the second language school. I want to learn German. Really want to. But it's proving difficult to arrange. So why you so into philosophy? I started reading it about age 16 but you've probably read more than me.
