Disappointments:
1.
Cobra Starship - While The City Sleeps, We Rule the Streets
Don't get me wrong, I love Gabe. I was always a big Midtown fan, and I loved the first few songs of this album. But towards the middle it just gets... boring. The music is still upbeat & such, but it just doesn't do it for me. The first half is great, but the other half was pretty lame.
2.
He Is Legend - Suck Out the Poison
I had heard they had made a huge change, and I admit, it's not entirely horrible. I'm trying to keep an open mind, or maybe I'm just trying to be hopeful that it'll GET good, but it's just not working out for me so far. It's not the same He Is Legend to me. Though I admit the first track is good.
3.
Spitalfield - Better Than Knowing Where You Are
The more I listen to it, it's just starting to grow on me, but baaaarely. It doesn't even touch Remember Right Now. This doesn't, and Stop Doing Bad Things didn't. End of story.
4.
Forgive Durden - Wonderland
I don't know, it's alright... I just happen to like their older stuff better. Just a personal preference. I was never the biggest fan of his voice anyway.
5.
Gatsby's American Dream - Gatsby's American Dream
It's not bad, at all. I love Gatsby's. I think they deserve more credit than they get... but I fucking loved Volcano, so I figured that would be hard to come close to for me. This album just didn't blow me away like the others did.
Shouldn't have even bothered:
1.
From First to Last
Pure shit.
2.
Four Letter Lie
Hm, did Underoath change their name? I tried to make myself like this album. Continually. I even listened to it all the way through three or four times. My friends had told me good things about them, so I did my best to keep an open mind, but I couldn't hold out much longer.
3.
Over It
Every one of their songs sounds.. exactly.. the fucking.. same. I don't know why I still give them a chance.
4.
Hellogoodbye
Okay, don't get me wrong, their EP was disgustingly addicting, I was seeing their local shows every month or two in 04, but this... what the fuck was this? I saw them last July on one of their first headlining tours, and a portion of the set was great, they got everybody dancing. But at the end, they came out in these stupid costumes & just made complete asses out of themselves. I'm all for having fun, but I'm just wondering when they're going to grow up.
5.
Aiden
Hahahahaha. I could go on for hours about how shitty this band is, I just had to put them here for my own entertainment. Honestly, the biggest joke ever.
