I was supposed to see them again back in October but it was one of the 6 US dates that got cancelled (hasn't been re-scheduled yet so...) And yes, I love "Cosmic Egg". Though it lacks a knockout track like "Woman" from the debut, I think it's a stronger effort across all the tracks. "Sundial" and "Pilgrim" are probably my favorites. Who would have thought Wolfmother Mk II could surpass the original line-up? I'm trying to find the time to really get into Thin Lizzy, haven't been able to just sit down and listen for a good five or six hours yet though...

I would've went to see AC/DC one of the last two times they came here this album cycle, but I couldn't afford it. The cheapest tickets were around 200 bucks a pop, and I would've had to buy two of them, because I can't drive and if someone was willing to drive me all the way to their show, it would only be fair to invite this person. And if I did have a car, even though I could go alone it's always more fun to go with someone. Concert-going is almost a religious experience, you'd wanna share it with a fellow rock fan. Who opened, by the way?

Last time I bothered taking pics was when I saw Velvet Revolver back in '07, I got a couple good pics, but most of them portrayed the band members as walking blotches with guitars (no wait... I forget you couldn't even tell they even were guitars). Wish I could've seen them last year, when The Answer of all bands opened for them.
