Well I found this site while looking for music I might like other than REM...
They're my favourite band, and have been since I first got into music (about 4 months ago...). My favourite album is probably Out Of Time although I still haven't heard most of them :(
My favourite song at the moment is probably Boy In The Well although it changes often. I also really like Longview at the moment

Do you have any of R.E.M.'s earlier albums? I think the stuff after Automatic For The People is quite disappointing, they are still a fantastic live act though! -

well if your after more r.e.m. i'd get murmur which is their first album and my favourite. if your after something a bit different i'd give the smiths ago, totally different singer but some more great guitar work.

On a whim, I've ordered Dead Letter Office, Murmur, Green, Life's Rich Paegent, New Adventures in Hi-fi , Reveal and Document from Amazon, meaning I now have pretty much all their albums.
