I'm not crazy about Weezer, but I did LOVE them in high school. So when I heard they were coming to my city for a meet-and-greet, even though I didn't particularly like Weezer (Red), and hadn't heard a single track off of Raditude, I still thought it'd be fun to go and see them.

Not surprisingly, I had to buy Raditude to get into the event (I also bought a physical copy of Far, which I was pretty happy about). The wait wasn't long at all, and pretty soon I got to meet Weezer and have them sign Raditude. Rivers Cuomo looks even sicklier and frail than he does on album covers and in photos. I told Brian I liked his jacket and he didn't respond at all. Pat and Scott were both super nice and healthy looking,

I'm going to listen to Raditude today, so I guess Weezer's goal of getting me to listen to their new CD by buying it for a Best Buy event was a success.

I miss Make Believe.
