I'm the same mate, I don't know how I missed Hum and Verbena despite hearing their names at the time but not checking them out and now they're two of my favourite bands. Well, as they say, better late than never eh?! They are great live too, I saw them do the whole of 'In Search of..' live a couple of months back and they never disappoint.

Thanks for the recommendations mate! I just bought 12 Angry Months and it is very different from AGAD as you said. I will definitely follow your recommendations so a big thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

Hey, I saw your comment on Verbena's 'Oh My' and thought I'd check out your profile. I notice you're into Local H, I've not long got into them (don't know how I missed them in the 90's!) and have 'Good as dead' which I really like. What would you say was their next best album to that? Cheers and great taste too btw!

hey! thanks really i appreciate it :) more and more people i know are starting to come out and show that they are secularists or bi or whatever because i encouraged them to :3 so you are from Canada originally or do you just live there? :D and it's cool that you've visited here before, though many years ago it was really different

Really glad to hear that you enjoyed Lying in Wait, man. :) It's definitely my favorite album that I've worked on in my entire life, and that encompasses 7 full lengths. Damn I write a lot of songs lol. Now that I have real life issues to attend to, I'm so grateful for the help from people who share the same musical vision that I do. It's great working with guys like Jerry and Andy. There should be another album if not this year, early next year. We're already working on tracks. Always, always working on tracks! Anyway, don't be a stranger. Stop by, say hello, friend us if you wanna. We're always down to talk about good music. :) Cheers! Jason - vocals/guitars Darkest Ritual

I'd also recommend you try out Yndi Halda, not sure if you'd like them, but definitely worth a try. I just found out about em recently.

Hmmm could you specify which of Brad Sucks' songs you'd advise me to try? Was gonna try out Local H as well, but couldn't find a decent source for em =( Checking out Nine Black Alps, and Veruca Salt, then will check the rest. I didn't like all of Liz Phair's songs, but the ones I did were: Lazy dreamer, somebody's miracle, wind and the mountain, lost tonight, closer to you, everything to me, count on my love, and why can't I...She has a rather diverse style though...

Highly amusing how our comparability is listed as high, even though I believe we have very little in common. 0.o Got any suggestions for me?

Yeah Local H is pretty rad. I've seen them 10 times or so. I have much of the same equipment they use as well. I a huge nerd. I hope you get to see them sometime soon. You're right, they dont get to Canada much. keep on rocking. cheers.

Sobre mim

"Aw, man. You made friends with them. See, friendship is the booze they feed you. They want you to get drunk on feeling like you belong.

Well, it was fun.

Because they make you feel cool. And hey, I met you. You are not cool.

I know. Even when I thought I was, I knew I wasn't.

Yeah because we're uncool. And while women will always be a problem for guys like us, most of the great art in the world is about that very problem. Good looking people, they got no spine. Their art never lasts. And they get the girls, but we're smarter.

Yeah I can really see that now.

Yeah, that's what great art is about... guilt and longing, and, you know, love disguised as sex, and sex disguised as love... and hey let's face it, you got a big head start.

I'm glad you were home.

I'm always home. I'm uncool.

Me too.

You're doing great man. The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what you share with someone else when you're uncool."
