BIO:

His mother tells of the story how she felt him dancing in her stomach whenever music would be played... the world his instrument, life his score; having traveled its far corners and lived through unimaginable adventures and experiences, theoryjean continues to bring sound to the unawoken.

born in paris, traveled the world, got caught up in the southern california scene... really can't complain.

The method to his madness lies beyond our dimensions and its confinements, where soul and passion have no boundaries. TheoryJean's work transcends space and time traveling through and from the paranormal challenging our minds to the infinities of 'what is'.

SOUND & EQUIPMENT:

CURRENT SETUP: Technics 1200 m3D, mk5, and two mk5 24k Gold Limited Edition [30 year anniversary] running through Rane TTM56i and Vestax Pro 06 mixers. two 15" peavey PA speakers powered by pv 900 amp. i also work with serato but i am definately a vinyl purist and love finding the rare gems.
ive been expirementing with a Korg effects Pod meant for guitar use, but i run my turntables through it... getting some great sounds. suggested for any expiremental DJ.

GIGS: clubs, proms, dances, banquets, dinners, art shows, parties, weddings, hip hop shows, or whatever else you can think of. theres a very extensive collection to work off of.

MY WORKS: recently working on a few projects. some solo stuff, concept albums, some collaborations along with companion Cutloose, some plain old mixes, some mashups, and getting back into recording and producing original material. currently piecing together a mix album, a mix of downtempo, electronica, house, dub, trip hop etc. annnd possibly some demo tracks of my own... slowly piecing together some work incorporating live instruments and sampling from everything that makes sound... (read 'my works' journal for more information on the mix cd, and leave suggestions, please)
