Wed 11 Nov – Above & Beyond, Boom Jinx
Boom Jinx was absolutely awesome. His sets are uplifting and refreshing in a way that is difficult to achieve in these harsh times. If you ever get the chance to see a live set of us, don't miss it!
Above & Beyond weren't too airy-fairy with their set. They had just the right vibe going on. I took some videos so you can hear some of it.
Opera is being retarded and cracking down on poi spinners and glowstringers, so we spinsterz were very lucky to be able to practise our art that night. Here's a video of a friend of mine.

Unfortunately my flowers (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-sCXbZ4slc to see what I mean) don't look as cool from the diagonal angle he shot them from - and he didn't have a lot of choice as to vantage point, what with all the people moving around us. As I mentioned, it really helps for me to go total candy raver and light myself up like a Christmas tree to give such dark videos context, so everyone can see where the top, sides, and back of my head, chest, and wrists are.
