sorry about the slow reply. field day sounds pretty cool - mogwai, final fantasy and malcolm middleton all in one place! i will definetly see if i can afford a ticket a little closer to the time and let you know. best mastodon to start with is probably either blood mountain or leviathan . you won't regret it. i strongly recommend you try and see them whilst they're on their uk tour; caught them back in 2007 during my (cringes) moshing days. nevertheless they were brilliant. i recently lost my entire itunes which is a bit of a pain but once sorted i will get on the tori amos case and might even have to check out that moby dick concept album haha.
