Yah, and I didn't mention he's a big fan of Venetian Snares! When asked about metal, he was most excited about Meshuggah. He's worked with some of the members of the post-rock band Mono, I believe, and studied with Steve Reich. And he's not even a year older than I am. I'm like, yeah, I can sweep pick minor scales with varying degrees of consistency, top that buddy! Such a bastard, although he's very humble about it.

Ah, well at least it doesn't sound too difficult, but it seems like it'll get more interesting/better along the way. My girlfriend and I are both doing well, I'm enjoying my Psych 101 and 241 (abnormal psy) classes quite a bit as well. Business is also fairly interesting, its a lot easier than high school too (no tedious homework assignments and so on). Her classes are good too except she has the Intro to Research Methods which is pretty boring so far. I don't start applying yet but I had to do a couple personal essays and I think I'm going to write the essay about being an essay for my common app. My main priority right now is getting a job, and taking the ACT again in a few weeks.
