Reposting the articles several times and especially at other times may help. It did help for me during the last months. My friend bisa doesn't create articles any more because it took two weeks and 10-15 times posting the same article until all connections were established.

The problem is that it's a subscription service, the mp3s are quite cheap but you have a fixed number of downloads per month for 40-50 Euro-Cent a track depending on the plan. My plan is very low priced because it is an old subscription.

Many of the wonderful indie artists I know have very few listeners, I found lots of full streamable albums without any listeners. Many of the more popular indie artists are scrobbled from spotify, thesixtyone, or radio stations like kgrl. Michal found a dozen fans with just one song within less than 24 hours on thesixtyone, it may take months to get the same effect on last.fm.
