Hello,
I am Stuart and i am a part of the band "The Port Authority" formed from the ashes of Yessa De Paso.
Christopher from Esperi plays drums and records our music.
We have a couple of demos which dont have any of the good bits recorded yet (like cello and orchestration) have a sneaky listen if you like at...http://www.last.fm/music/the+port+authority
We are from a little village called Carnoustie.
It is a small coastal town on the north east of Scotland.
Over the years we've played in varous bands and shared a stage with folk in bands such as...
snow patrol, stapleton, danananankroyd, aereogramme, biffy clyro, sons and daughters, BMX Bandits, camera obscura and lots lots more.
To pay my way I run a business making CD's, Albums, Digipaks and EP's for independent artists and small labels.
Some of our clients include Rock Action Records (Mogwai's record label), Shoeshine Records (run by Francis from Teenage Fanclub) and we have done work for many fabulous bands and artists including Attic Lights, Camera Obscura, Julie Fowlis, Woodenbox and a whole lot more.
We imported a cd printer from america that makes even our small runs have a shop quality print - we are proud to say that we are the only folks in the UK to have this!
So if you know any up and coming bands needing cds, albums eps or promos to be made then im your man - give me a shout!
So thats pretty much me in a nutshell, what about you?
