Well, just a little bit about me, I'm Canadian, born and raised in Ottawa, I love music and I really believe the British can create the best music in the world. i also really love talking about and recommending music, so if we've got similar tastes, I'd enjoy chatting about music (or anything else) and recommending new music.
I'm a strong believer in the album and that a good album will always be worth more than the sum of it's parts.
Also, i listen to albums a lot on my steroe and because of that, they don't show up in my last.fm
Some things i like:
Radio: The ongoing history of new music with Alan Cross (highly recommend the show)
TV: Seinfeld, Simpsons, family guy and whichever never Mind the buzzcocks episodes I can find
Movies: Monty python and the holy grail, the Godfather, 24 hour party people, Reservoir Dogs, Star Wars, James BondControl, tenacious D
Books: james bond (all of them) and some others I can't think of at the moment
Bands I've Seen live:

The Who
George thorogood
"Weird Al" Yankovic (I was quite a bit younger)
