I'm lonely!

So I feel as if i'm alone in this world (and when I saw the world I mean this site) when it comes to my musical taste. Even my neighbors only listen to a portion of the music that I find appealing, while other listen to the other portion, along with much I detest.
Sad thing being, in the real world I know quite a few people that I share musical interest with, but I don't seem to get along with them, or know them very well.

Because of this website I have tired to expand my musical interests by exploring new and unique artists, some of which I think are great, but for the most part, I am not the biggest indie fan.

Of Montreal is great, yet I can't see myself too devoted to them.
Wolf Parade is also great, yet I can only listen to their album so many times.

Now when it comes to what I truly enjoy listening to, well…
Choking Victim and Leftover Crack are high on my list, but screaming pissed off music, while I find it this easiest to enjoy in the moment, once again, I think i've out done it.

Bands like F-Minus I love because it has that same attitude, yet the songs are too quick and not formal enough to get old, unless of course one was stuck listening to them over and over.

So I try to stay off the rader when it comes to music, which means I don't care for mainstream music… Why? Well music is music, and no matter how many people listen to it, it will still be just that. But music is more then just what you hear, its the idea convayed as well. That idea or message changes when it becomes commericialized. No longer does the song have meaning, the song now has status. It no longer is played to embrace and enjoy.
One major example of this I feel is Anti-Flag. When at one point they had a strong message, that message is diluted to the point of not existing when their albums can be bought at walmart.
Last night I saw Gogol Bordello for the fourth time. Their first tour under clear channel. As the Channel 93.3 rep got on stage to introduce them, the crowd started hollering as he says "Get ready for this amazing set if you've never seen it before!"
Ironicly it was their worst show I've seen yet, not that it was bad, but not what I've seen in the past.
Are they just tired? Bored? Or is the same thing happening?
Start Wearing Purple is now the anthem for far too many teenagers, while they are unaware of albums such as Voi-la Intruder and Multi Kontra Culti vs. Irony.
Too bad only like 3 songs off those albums were played.
They are now apealing to the crowd, as opposed to playing good music.
Maybe i'm being critical.

Point being, I have mixed feeling about music.
Operation Ivy will always be #1 in my book, due to the fact that i've heard that album hundreds of times, and I can still sing along like the first time I learned the words.

Now when it comes to hip-hop, I love it, but it gets on my nerves from time to time. Once again the status symbol associated with it, and the extreams between the messages being convayed.
Who is honest? As mentioned in The IT in Keeping IT Real, not many.
That is why artists such as Typical Cats and Josh Martinez never get old. Oh man, but I don't even know.
For some reason I like Dave Matthews

What the fuck is this about?
I'm not sure. I'm so sick of critics of all kinds. Go to hell.
