    That's soooooooooo weird. I think a lot of people on last.fm don't really look at the "events" I'm excited that it's at a smaller venue though, even though it kind of blows my mind how little attention it's getting. Oh well, more Lou love for us!

    oh shit i think i just got gangbanged rec-wise. thanks though, i downloaded ylaom and farm and i will give them a spin tonight or tomorrow. as for queen, set that nostalgic bullshit aside for a minute and i think it's fairly easy to see that they are fucking terrible.

    you're tellin' me! i think this is their best album since perfect from now on, tbh. you in reverse has some amazing songs but the production is muddled and the gutiars sound weak and flimsy (except on goin against your mind, which slayyyyyys) - conventional wisdom is going to be such a jam live if they play it! also, there is absolutely nothing wrong with sebadoh - it's quit time headphones music when it's rainy outside and all your roommates are at work and your big house feels a bit too big (:

    couldn't have said it better myself, lady who listens to a bunch of modest mouse, built to spill, and the replacements i'll see ya at the BTS concert (which is going to be life-changingly awesome if the other stops on the tour's setlists are any indication!) (: @classictammy: you're living all over me is a good startoff point, but it has some sebadoh-like tunes on it from barlow. their new one 'farm' is actually a good jump off point, its the original line-up again (just like 2006's beyond) and they really channel their old selves. *hijacks your last.fm questions*

    That's awesome! I was going to go to the cowboy junkies/son volt with my dad, but tickets were too expensive and then it got canceled because the cowboy junkies are lame. I will probably be going with my boyfriend to Billy Bragg though, he LOVES him. Hopefully I'll see you there. Also, when are you free in the next couple of weeks?
