    I've recently obtained a Mac, and I'm looking for software to replace the trusty Winamp/foobar2000 combination.
    So far I have found these:

  • Cog - Plays a pile of different formats. It doesn't do library management, so it won't be replacing iTunes anytime soon. (http://cogx.org/)
  • Max - An audio converter that will go to and from almost anything. It has some issues with Musepack, which I've duly reported to the author. (http://www.sbooth.org/Max/)
  • Songbird - slow, big, and sports a weird UI. (http://www.songbirdnest.com/)

  • Albums I hated at first, then gave another chance, but still didn't like

    I'm finally trying to reorganize my CD collection, and hopefully divest myself of some of the old or embarrassing stuff. It's not all crap. Tastes change, and maybe someday I'll be getting rid of all the Funkadelic and Autechre records I'm currently hunting down. Without further ado, here is some of the junk I'm trying to sell.
