i've been listening to the Stones a lot recently. and this is such a "house favorite".

i found Ted Hawkins here on last.fm when i first joined up, listening to a neighbor's library. and fell in love hard. a man & his guitar. you can almost imagine strolling along the boardwalk and listening to him in the distance. one of my favorite "rainy day" cds, or "waking up" music, or "slowing down" tunes. or whatever. i just really like him.
Mar 21 2009, 13h34today my subscription ran out. oh well. i'm not renewing it. aside from seeing who visits my profile, i can't think of what other benefits membership has (oh right, not seeing these pesky ads).
edited to add: oh RIGHT, i can't play my playlists without the subscription. well, shit.
edited to add, part two: oh RIGHT, i can't play my "loved tracks" either. well, hell.
i hit 70,000 tracks a few days ago and meant to write down what track it was. but i was at work, busy and forgot. again, oh well.
seems like someone has the late winter-early spring Creeping Malaise
Dez 17 2008, 12h50a standard favorite, one that always seems to come on exactly when i *don't* need to be reminded.
You Can't Always Get What You Want
then, my current favorite song...damn you Adidas & your marketing
and finally, track 60,000
and if that ain't some shit, then i don't know what is. i'm having a really crappy day, so this all fits dead on.
Out 14 2008, 21h20i've had my ipod at work, sitting in the docking station this week. and yes, i actually counted back to see track 50,000.
kinda soft-rock, and definitely more poignant when i was about 17, but i'll take it.
Ago 13 2008, 20h08...and kick someone in the nuts. however...
i can't hook up my speakers at work to my pc for temporary technical reasons, so i've been listening to my ipod. which won't scrobble for some reason. and i just had to restore it to factory settings.
I'm So Tired
Jul 14 2008, 14h54i've been listening to one song on repeat the past few days:
Jul 6 2008, 10h36and i'm sure i could go back & count, but who has time for that. but i've been revisiting a long forgotten song lately, so i'll leave you with that.
the original album (tape, actually) was Vampire Can Mating Oven. i think i still have it somewhere, but fortunately it was also released on the retrospective Camper Vantiquities
Jun 12 2008, 10h16take care, Grandpop. now you get to be Archie Bunker for eternity.
