• Part 2 of some of my favorite things....

    Mai 8 2011, 16h36

One of my friends, HeDog, suggested a few more questions for "favorite things". Here they are plus a few more.. Enjoy!

Favorite artist? (Musician or art artist?) As far as my fave artist in music, it's a tough choice between Michael Jackson and John Lennon. My fave artist (painter) is Rembrandt.

Favorite place? There's a park a couple blocks from my parent's home. It has a pond with ducks. It's gorgeous.

Favorite movie? "The Crow" with Brandon Lee.

Favorite natural sound? I love humpback whales and their beautiful songs.

Favorite way to spend a lazy day? I love to sit outside and read a good book.

    Favorite flower? Tulips.

    Favorite childhood cartoon? She-Ra.

    Favorite Beatle? John.

Favorite Star Wars character? Princess Leia.

    Favorite whiskey? Jameson.

Here's a few more that I came up with over the past few days...

Favorite actor? Jack Nicholson and Al Pacino.. (can't decide between the 2)

Favorite Star Wars movie? I love The Empire Strikes Back.

Favorite villian? Maleficient from "Sleeping Beauty"
  • Haven't written in awhile.. so sorry darlings..

    Mai 8 2011, 16h18

    Greetings everyone,

    How is everyone?

I'm not sure how to put this, but I was laid off about a month or so ago. Life's been stagnant lately.. but I figured that I can type out some of my worries and maybe I will feel better?

Does anyone have enough money to live of off? I know that I don't. Simply put, money's a huge worry. Like Wu-Tang Clan mentioned in a famous song "Cash Rules Everything Around Me".

I was so used to working every freakin' day that after I was laid off, I would still wake up early every morning. (I can be a troublesome sleeper at times, but who doesn't have trouble sleeping?)

    Just venting a little bit..

I'm sorry that I have not written any journals lately.

To tell you the truth, I have been feeling like crap. :(

I heard about Farrah Fawcett passing away last Thursday. My prayers and thoughts are with her and her family during this very difficult time.

I heard about Michael Jackson's passing last Thursday afternoon as well. My prayers and thoughts are also with Michael and his family.

I remember when I was very young, I used to listen to Michael Jackson religiously. I loved the way that he used to sing. I remember watching "Moonwalker" when I was like 7 years old.

My favorite songs by Michael Jackson is "Thriller" and "Billie Jean".

It feels like part of my heart is completely gone. He was a major part of my childhood.

I feel very sad that he has left this Earth... He will always be loved and cherished..

May Farrah Fawcett Rest in Peace...

May Michael Jackson Rest In Peace..

    xoxoxo

  • is it just me or is the world getting smaller?

    Mar 5 2009, 0h11

I was thinking about the saying, "It's a small world".

It's a very interesting response to say to someone.

If you really think about it, the world is alot smaller than it used to be. Before the invention of the telephone and electricity, life must have really sucked. You had to walk 10 miles to a nearby store.. or take a horse and carriage to wherever you wanted to go. You had to hunt for food. You had to travel to all sorts of places. If you were bitten by a snake or some other creature, you had to pray that you would make it or you would be screwed.

Now, we are privileged creatures. We have central heat and air conditioning. We get to call or text our friends on our cool cellphones. We can order food over the Internet. We can use our motor vehicles/airplanes/trains/buses to travel to any place that we desire. We have access to anything we want.. through our fingertips. We can communicate with millions of people around the world through the Internet..

It's made our world smaller and smaller. think about it

I haven't written a journal in awhile. Sorry about that. :)

I just want to congratulate President Obama, our 44th President of the United States of America. He made a very powerful and amazing speech on Tuesday. I am becoming more and more impressed by him.

  • Merry Holidays!

    Dez 25 2008, 3h02

    Hello,

If anyone is taking the time to read this, I want to wish you and your loved ones a very happy holiday season. :) Be safe out there. Don't drink too much. Definitely don't eat too much.

I really love the christmas season. The snow is so pure and amazing. The smell of the pine trees are wonderful. It's a great time to stay inside and watch a great movie.

I really love "A Christmas Story". It's a great holiday film for everyone. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please view this movie.

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is another favorite movie of mine. I'm talking about the cartoon version in case you want to know. :P

    Have a great holiday! :D
  • R.I.P Bettie Page

    Dez 13 2008, 16h17

I found out yesterday that Bettie Page passed away on Thursday. She was absolutely gorgeous.

I really don't think that there is any woman that can replace her signature look. She knew how to use her body to convey emotions to the camera. She posed for racy and provocative photos with lingerie and bondage gear. Sometimes, she just wouldn't wear anything at all! In the 1950's, it was very controversial but she has become an international sex icon.

Bettie Page will be greatly missed. R.I.P. Bettie Page.

  • Thankful

    Nov 27 2008, 21h21

I am very thankful for my family, my animals and my buddies. :)

I am thankful that Obama has been elected as our 44th President. :)

On this thanksgiving, I have discovered how much life is taken for granted. We should help each other each and every day. Not just on Thanksgiving.
