Here in the northern hemisphere, it is very dark this time of year, that's why we love to light candles everywhere in our homes. It gives a cozy feeling and today we light the second candle for the second Sunday of Advent, hence my current avatar :-)

    What year was the concert?

That's right. Many people here still loves these old bands after all this time, and that's awesome. We can't go back in time but we try to get the spirit back and internet help us to do it. My family hates this kind of music, but i can't live without, they tried to make me listen to bad music. Cris choose the avatar for me, she really loves Beatles and Pink Floyd, and that's one of the reasons i like her so. I wish i could live this time, i hate to live in the wrong time and space.. You are a lucky man, i'll never see my idols alive :-( *Sorry about any language mistake.

Hi Steve, thanks a lot for the re-newed friendship ... Thanks as well for the warm welcome ... Well, I deleted my old profile in fact of not being the sort of "musikentdecker" which translated means an explorer for music - most people send me many many music to listen to ... I know, what I like, I know what I want to listen to and I know which artists, records or groups I still left out by mistake and I still have to explore ... Best regards to Australia, cheers, Sven

Sobre mim

I'm English: born in South-East London (Camberwell). Moved to Bromley in the 60's, went to same school as David Bowie (Bromley Tech). In the 70's I attended quite few concerts and festivals. 1970 Hyde Park: Pink Floyd premiered Atom Heart Mother with brass and choir. Most of the 70's Knebworth concerts: Stones, Floyd with Spitfires barreling over the crowd, Zeppelin, Genesis. All the 70's Reading & Cambridge Folk Festivals. I attended the rained out Lincoln festival in 1972. I also attended concerts at the Greyhound Croydon, the Roundhouse, The Rainbow, Hammersmith Odeon, Wembley Stadium and saw Hawkwind, Floyd & Genesis at Wembley Arena. Saw Floyd at Earls Court. Saw Stephane Grappelli at the Cambridge Folk Festival and at the Palladium. Saw Tangerine Dream at the RAH, Klaus Schultz at the Planetarium, Gong at The Lyceum, too many concerts and venues to remember them all! I was employed by an Australian bank in the City of London until I was 26 (1980) when I migrated with the bank to Melbourne, Australia, where concerts were not so regular. Saw Pat Metheny at the Melbourne Concert Hall, Simon & Garfunkel at AFL park. Since moving to Oz, my other interests include 4WD exploring and Ocean Yacht racing, I've driven to Alice Springs/Lake Eyre/Oodnadatta track. I've completed 5 Melbourne to Hobart races via the West Coast of Tasmania. Now I've retired from work, I've bought a camper-trailer, hooked up to the trusty 4WD, now starting to do some serious grey nomad touring.

Your super-eclectic score is 616/1000!
