Envy's vocals are definitely more powerful. And yeah, new Fact song is sick. Good on them for managing to get another full length ready so quickly. ._. And I have Mono's latest CD, Hymn to the Immortal Wind, that's worth checking out. I won't be seeing them though, R18.

Yeah I get that. I do enjoy my music but I love it when it totally contrasts. And yeah, that is one of Darkest Hour's best. And do you mean the videos aren't available for them? There's a live one I uploaded which I'm pretty sure shouldn't have any restrictions on it. :S http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueA9RVoMPio if that doesn't work then just see if you can't find their EP "Hardcore Emotion" for download anywhere. It's not like you could buy it anywhere anyway, it's out of production & sold out everywhere and the band has split up.

Really? Well I find that to be their weakest album. Deliver Us is their best imo, the most melodic and interesting. And Ellegarden and Mono are awesome, may be seeing Mono in the following week. What did you listen to? 'Cause the vocals progressed with their music. I gave Amon Armath a listen, For The Stabwounds in Our Back. They're pretty good, though it got quite boring and it wasn't as melodic as I was expecting. And I listened to Horizons by Tonight Is Glory and kinda spewed a bit at the vocals. To me they sounded like a hot topic version of It Prevails or For The Fallen Dreams.

That sounds fair enough. I'll admit I'm not really a fan of morbidly-focused lyrics either, along with lyrics for power, folk and viking metal. Though I do have some death metal. Have you ever given Darkest Hour a listen?

Ah I see. And yeah they are! The first time I ever gave them a proper listen was A Dead Sinking Story on a 2-hour car drive through misty fields in the middle of nowhere, it was awesome. I love music that works with seasons and nature.
