OH, slug, thanks, just make me incredibly jealous that you're going to see Roky live! I didn't even know he was to the point of touring, knew he did the odd festival or showcase here and there, unbelievable that he's come so far in such a short time that he can play live. Never Say Goodbye is one of my favorites of his, so raw and real. But damn you for getting to see him live. Gotta go up to Dime a Dozen and see if anyone has any live recordings from this tour, I guess that's the next best thing for those of us who don't get to see Roky next week....you better put your photographic memory on and be prepared to relive it all detail by detail... ;) Hey, even if you knew where Syd Barrett Lives, since he's no longer with us, this is absolutely the next best thing....well, except for Robyn Hitchcock.... OH, remind me to tell you my flamin groovies story some time... :)

don't you love Roky's starry eyes--gets me weeping every time, can't help but miss the old Roky who wrote such beautiful complex tunes. Have a live version of Yo La Tengo singing it, also gorgeous. We've got medium compatibility, but that's because I mostly listen to music on my iPod, and haven't bothered scrabbling it with last.fm. ..still a bit suspicious of what they use such priceless data for.... And skip the grungecore and metal...you need more waltz and polka tunes in your collection, check out my huge library of them, though tbh i love grungewaltz and neumetal polka--that's some wild shit at parties!!!
