Been listening to many kind of metal for 15 years (except black metal) but I love music in general, even some shitty pop songs, nobody's perfect, enough said.

Since a couple years, I support French metal bands as much as possible because they do need it and it happens I'm French. But it doesn't mean I enjoy the French metal scene only, not at all. But I have to admit I now listen to them first and foremost as long as they meet my needs.
I realize I'm missing out a lot of great foreign bands, unfortunately I don't have enough time to listen to everything I would want to.
I often "clean" my friend list, so you probably disappeared if we don't talk, don't be offended, you are still very welcome!
Just to let you know, if you, unlike me, like our French accent and want to discover/share French artists singing in English, here is a group for you here
One album I love : Metal for the most part mixed with piano, reggea, disco, banjo, circus, whatever you could think of, BUT very well done. If you like the songs on their myspace already, a couple songs on the album are even better in my opinion. The best part is they really rock live !
