it's kinda like an amphitheater so it has a covering over the seated area. also, do you know anyone else who wants to come? cos I have an extra ticket that I could sell.

If they follow that setlist I'll be pretty damn happy haha they're playing at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Saturday and Devendra Banhart is gonna be there so I'm hoping he'll make a guest appearance at the Mann Center haha I live just a little bit away from Philly in the state capital, Harrisburg, so it's not a bad drive or anything except I'm going down to Baltimore to get my friend first and then driving up to Philly haha I generally go to shows in Baltimore and D.C. though cos I go to school in Baltimore and during the school year it's closer to drive to D.C. than Philly. yeah the same thing happened to me at Arctic Monkeys except I got pushed towards the side of the stage, but it was still amazing.

Aw man :/ what songs have they regularly been playing? that would be amazing to hear Siberian Breaks live in its entirety! yeah I saw Passion Pit and Tokyo Police Club at this venue, but my seat was right up front in the third row haha I'm actually really surprised that you got seated in orchestra B cos I just bought my tickets last month and that's where I'm seated haha I definitely like GA shows a lot better. I saw Gogol Bordello in April and I was right in the front and that was a wild show. Also when I saw Arctic Monkeys I got to be right up front as well.

Yeah! Grizzly Bear and the Morning Benders did a college tour and played at the school that my dad works at so I got a free ticket haha I saw them on Letterman and SNL. I have to agree with you on them not caring what the material from Oracular Spectacular sounds like live because in all the interviews and stuff I've read Andrew VanWynGarden and Ben Goldwasser really resented the success of Time to Pretend and Kids cos they wrote those songs several years before the rest of Oracular Spectacular and had moved on to better things in their songwriting such as all of the other songs on Oracular Spectacular haha they've gotten a million times better with Congratulations. I soooo hope they play Someone's Missing haha

same here. the only time I care about the opening band is if it's two bands I like touring together. such is the case of when I saw The Morning Benders and Grizzly Bear; and then, Tokyo Police Club and Passion Pit. I've read bad reviews of some of MGMT's shows and I've seen bad videos of them live, but then I see really kick-ass videos of them playing stuff off of Congratulations. They played It's Working on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson a couple of weeks ago and they did a really good job. I also saw a fan-shot video of them playing Brian Eno live and it was really good. I definitely like Congratulations a lot more than Oracular Spectacular and the preceding EPs.

although I checked out the opening band and I didn't like them that much :/ but whatever MGMT is gonna blow them outta the water and be amazing.
