true. I always forget how good it actually IS, tbh, but I reckon it'd fit better on one of their other albums, meds has a different feel to it, more melodramatic really.

Ha, anyway... overall I would say still alternative... but I feel like a good melody at the moment, and harmonies... and anything I can play on the guitar... bluegrass is so fun to play... finger-picking good! Getting into early 60s pop, which I've never really listened too before... always preferred the later, psycheldelic stuff. Oh! Bob Dylan! I got into him in a big way in the Christmas holidays... so amazing. I think Bringing It All Back Home is my favourite album that I've heard. Listening to pre-electric more at the moment though... Hhhmm yes anyway. I've rambled. Got an assignment due tommorrow at 4pm... ARRGH.

I'm listening to weird stuff at the moment... The Carter Family, Lead Belly... random bluegrass.... this cool band called Pyewacket who play "music from the last five centuries". So rad, some of it's really medieval sounding, and some's like 1920s jazz... they play heaps of different instruments. I love Billie Holiday and Chet Baker. Also I just got a whole heap of The Corries... this Scottish duo (i.e. two old men) who sing traditional Scottish songs... I'm so lame. Ummm oh and I've just got into Neil Young, bought Harvest which is SO good... and my dad had Rust Never Sleeps, which is amazing too. Also I'm addicted to She & Him: Volume One... and Simon & Garfunkel. Oh and when I'm studying (which I should be doing now) I listen to Beethoven or Chopin, my faves.

Don't worry I hate the new album too. It's shite. Too well made... I liked their ealy stuff (I feel pretentious), it's raw and messy and awesome.
