My Golden Rule: I will never disparage the music taste of another. I don't care if you have the most earnest underground eclectic taste or whether you simply like what pops up on mainstream radio. Music taste is as varied as personalities, and it is not my place to judge.

I think my taste in music is eclectic, but that's all relative. Because I most want to find new music and fans of my favorite genres, I mainly scrobble those: metal, hard rock, progressive, and related sub-genres. Most Mondays will be "Manic Monday" when I scrobble the entire library.

My chief activity: the Song Of The Day - see my journal (nearly) daily. I established this tool to share/discover/discuss music when I was an undergrad in the late 80s. My journal here brings SotD into the internet age. See the 24 Jan 2007 entry for full details.
