... it's very basic (Gas), no horns but very psychedelic. I think I have the Mp3 somewhere I can send it to you if you like...

Counting the Beat is fabulous, thank you for introducing me to it! (I would post this on the IWBSDTL thread, but seeing as I wasn't actually going to post a video in reply...). Sigh. I do love Phil Judd.

I reccomend that you go to Amoeba Records in Berkeley; they have various Split Enz albums on vinyl for $1. Among other amazing albums. I ended up getting Ringo [his first solo album & the last album to feature all of the Fab 4], Band On The Run, Van Halen [I], Who's Next, & Get the Knack. & if you show 'em your school ID [I'm assuming MJC IDs'll work, 'cause UCSC does] you get 10-15% off.

yeah, they're a guilty pleasure. Just their second album though. The latest one is crap, in my opinion.

    It's warranted, though.

That's a startling occurrence. Oh, and I reckon its obvious but I'll say it anyway: Bloody great taste you've got there.

Now, did you get the re-issue with the Kirimanjalo EP, or was it another remaster?

Kilimanjaro... nice! But Rasputin's? I'm more of an Amoeba Music kind of guy.

Silver Apples are amazing. I can't believe that their music still doesn't feel dated after 40 years.

Thank you. :) And I can't believe I've just found someone who likes Echo & the Bunnymen, Split Enz, the 13th Floor Elevators, The Sonics AND Klaus Nomi.

Sensible enough, but then you miss out on The Wedding Present and The Stone Roses.
