I've listened to the record all the way through and still feel as though there's more to discover. I appreciate the unique challenges it presents. Think that the juxtaposition between the sweet pop and taxing noise elements actually only exacerbates its pop moments.
Hmm, I have a lot of love for Aeroplane, but feel like this is something else entirely. Obviously it's much less misty-eyed a record - perhaps your word accomplished is correct.
Oh, I can bring it for you whenever I see you next. I just realised my stats reveal I've played Eels 7x more than my 2nd most frequently played artist. Maybe we need some time apart. Send help.
Re: disguise. Shhhhhhh....... it's flawless.
Yours is the crazy painting from your living room (dancing central of das partyhaus) right?
You seem to have broken the 70's chain.
Yeah, I definitely recommend Grown Backwards from 2004. You've probably heard the song Lazy from it? I have a few of his solo albums but haven't given them enough plays to really recommend any over Grown Backwards.
Wow. You didn't equal my Roberts. You exceeded them. After generations of the Goldenberg-marrying tradition, in another country, your Dad found a Goldberg. So (almost) Dr. Revi, does this mean the pressure is on to find yet another Gold(en)berg?
P.S. You were just listening to Eels! I think somehow it acted like a beacon and drew me to LastFM. :)
