1015 get it right

Fri 12 Sep – Digitalism, Midnight Juggernauts, The Juan Maclean
This was a decent show despite the totally unprofessional management of the sound level. Which, at points was deafening. I feel bad for the live acts playing there because it seems like 1015 just doesn't know how to deal with this kind of "LIVE" show. They place needs more bathrooms, better ventilation and some crowd flow. I've seen Juggernauts before and they are awesome live, and what we could hear of Juan MacLean was great (they went on late because of the sound equipment.), of course Digitalism's DJ set was tits and was probably the best thing going because it played to 1015s strenghts. I think that 1015 could be a great venue for live music, hell even multiple acts at one time ala Metro/Smart Bar in Chicago, they just need to get their shit together. So all in all I give this a B- almost entirely because of the bungling of the venue.
