I have both Yeasayer albums, but I've only really listened to the new one, Odd Blood. I would definitely recommend checking out the songs "Ambling Alp" and "O.N.E." If you like those songs, I think you would enjoy the album. I haven't heard many other 2010 releases so far, but my recommendations would be Beach House - Teen Dream, A Silver Mt. Zion - Kollaps Tradixionales, and Vampire Weekend - Contra as those are my three favorites of 2010 thus far. Surfer Blood - Astro Coast is also a good album as well.

Biggest one so far is Caural, he's like Daedelus but draws more from smooth jazz and "chill" little symphonic bits.

I like it quite a bit. It took a few listens but I got into it. It's certainly no Doppelganger or Phantom on the Horizon, but it's better than Manipulator I think. And yes, you definitely need to check out the new Rx Bandits. It is incredible.

Yeah! Me too haha. Nothing to do with my fanboyism though :P Actually, though, my favorite album this year still has to be Rx Bandits' 'Mandala.' My best friend (and fellow Brand New fanboy) both actually think that's the best album so far this year. And this has been a heckuva a year for music. At least for me. Like, a gazillion albums have come out that I'm in love with. I don't think any other year will ever compare.

Haha. Well, it sounds quite a bit like Brand New to me, if only because I'm used to them drastically changing their sound every album, like Fear Before and Project 86.
