Read the first volume of A Girl By the Sea quickly because it felt like a good idea. Enjoyed it more than Solanin so far. Maybe I just like him more when he's miserable (even though Solanin still had miserable parts.) It's just... his style is excellent right? I can't describe it. I don't know how I would handle a conversation with him. I would have no idea what to ask him. Probably just hug him. I watched episode 3 of Genshiken, yeah. Holy shoot Madarame becomes husbando-tier more and more every day. I knew something was up with his voice, but discarded my suspicions because I thought it sounded odd because I haven't heard it in forever. I enjoy it a lot more. Along with his calmer demeanor. Too cute. But really, make the Comiket arc come up faster because three episodes of crossdressing is getting stale.
I watched Gatchaman in a frenzy of boredom - even though I really can't spare the time - and it was pretty funny. MC is some kind of ultimate genki girl with a constant :> I feel you on the backlog. There's a bunch of supposedly amazing pieces here and there, but I just don't have the energy/interest anymore to marathon things. I've been watching LOGH for some time, which an episode of is totally sufficient for end-of-day relaxation. So I'm not too keen on checking out the shitty season anyway. Excited for the upcoming P3 movie?
They're not even talking about anime anymore. It's just about traps. I thought they were going to go on a whole social justice tangent with that awkward scene in episode two. And I will start watching homo swimming when they make a bara version. Ain't nobody got time for some twigs without nipples flailing around in a tub.
So, Horou Musuko written by Asano? Sign me up. I still have to get through his back catalogue you know. I remember saying I would to you and never really did. Aside from Solanin. Never knew about him being transgender either. Realized I never really looked up pictures and wow he is adorable. I'm just scared of being let down by an author's subsequent works which is something I haven't had to experience with manga because I rarely read anything, much rather multiple works from the same author. Punpun was such a high standard to set everything to.
Man, you can't go wrong with cute livestock doing cute things. It's like a proper second season of Moyashimon. Not sure about Gatchaman. From the looks of it, it's pretty wonky and has some seriously cringeworthy cgi to boot. Nocturne and DDS are already next up in line once I find the time to hole myself up and do a gaming marathon or something. I don't want to plan too far ahead, because those games take long as hell anyway.
What. I thought you were #1 Genshiken hardcore fan and read the manga. I think they have to cut nearly all the relationship development to focus on the gags and such. I don't really mind since I was ambivalent about the cast except for Madarame. Just realized at work that I can probably handle twenty minutes a week. Let's try to follow an anime as it airs for the first time in ages yes. Punpun is going to destroy me. I can hopefully reread the entire series again leading up to the resolution. Considering where all the plot lines are weaving towards, it can only be the most depressing shit of all time.
