Hilarious! xD You know it makes me sad that a band I very much appreciate and admire goes, that way down. I mean they have a lot of success with what they are doing, but they should clear their minds and become aware of who they really are and that they don't need to try to fit in "the society" like this. They'd better resist on that. I miss the attitude like where they said "They don't pitch the voice down for OoS just to be radio-friendly in the US". That's why I can't understand that they're trying now to be recognised that much in the US. Exogenesis is really the only thing that hope isn't lost.

All in all 'The Resistance' is a pretty decent album but it doesn't come nearly as close as OoS, Absolution and Showbiz or maybe BH&R The mixing is very good, better than it was on BH&R but still I think they could do better than this. You could see it on Exogenesis they can, but they should stop being influenced by R&B , Britney Spears, Goldfrapp or whatever. They should be theirselves again. You know when I heard it'll be a classical album I thought cool, that album will surely be epic, influences by Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Liszt, and so on. I really didn't expect such mix of styles in one album. Enough of my talking, what do you think.

Thanks. Well, I had very high expectations on The Resistance since they made great albums before. After the first listen I was slightly disappointed, except the 3 parts of Exogenesis, which are by far the best on the album, and USoE ( I know that Queen-ish part, but it was quite obvious when they made the song and they laughed about it so...) is also very great I must say. I love the song Resistance too but that 'It could be wrong' part was weird ( again that Queen-ish thing), I Belong To You is also nice, the french part is hilarious 'cause of Matt's accent. If you didn't know it, the french part is an excerpt of an aria by the opera "Samson and Delilah". I just can't understand why he couldn't ask anyone how to pronounce that french part. Well then there is Uprising... it is catchy but it can't really convince me. The same counts for Undisclosed Desires ( too Timbaland-ish but they can pull it off). Some say US is the New Born II, but it isn't anywhere near as epic as New Born.
