Hey, I was in NYC over the weekend, and there was a Stone Benefit last night, so not only did I sit 6 feet away from John Zorn during the concert (although his back was to me because he had turned away from the audience for some reason), I was waiting around afterwards for my parents to show up and I FUCKING TOUCHED HIM! Unfortunately I wasn't expecting him to come back up and all I could stammer out was "Excellent show, sir". Then I saw my parents come, and if I had stuck around I probably could have gotten something signed, since he was asking for a sharpie, but since I think I was supposed to leave I felt I was imposing and left. But the awkwardness and the signed stuff doesn't matter because I WAS THERE!
