Kaitlin is fearless. She's also apparently a platypus. She's a fearless platypus, and armed with nothing more than a gifted guitar (the guitar was a gift, it itself isn't... you get it), free (read: crappy) recording software, and a second-hand microphone, Kait has set out to celebrate her favorite artists (as well as entertain a certain young and wickedly gifted writer) by doing renditions of their greatest songs. Her voice is exceptional, whether emulating the piercing confidence of Miss Joni Mitchell or the quiet reflective nature of He Of The Bright Eyes himself, Conor Oberst. Musically, Kait's guitar can burn through a face-melting solo as easily as strum a few Weepies chords just to pass the time. She likes cartoons, soft bunnies, good whiskeys, and the pressure of a familiar hand against her chest. Kait's interests, however, can not be so narrowly defined and the only limiting factor to what she can accomplish artistically, whether it be music, poetry, or theater (did I mention she writes and acts as well? This kid is amazing!) is her imagination. And her health. So her imagination and her health. And crippling stage-fright. Wait, I already said she was fearless. Shit! I am the worst journalist ever!
