ohne weitere große worte: vor 10 jahren startete die indie-party mit namen popfiction im underground - und da wir noch heute jeden donnerstag steil gehen, muss das gefeiert werden, ausnahmsweise an einem sonntag - vor pfingstmontag, versteht sich ...

doch zunächst geht es um den 1. juni: schon morgen stehen mai-phi und stefan wieder ab 23 uhr im subzero für euch bereit, um ihre plattenkoffer zu plündern und die schönsten, grellsten, knackigsten und wildesten songs des pop- und indie-universums aufzulegen. es ist geheizt, kommt zahlreich!

wir feiern am pfingstsonntag, 4.6., ab 23 uhr im subzero ein special, zu dem alle bisherigen popfiction-djs eingeladen sind: andi o., mike, puff pastry sowie natürlich die jetzigen resident-djs stefan, mai-phi und martin. und wir rechnen mal damit, dass das ein verdammt schöner, und nicht nur nostalgischer abend wird! und wir hoffen sehr, euch dort zu sehen ...

viele unter euch gitarrenrockern werden die nase rümpfen - andere kluge, eingeweihte popper wissen seit jahren bescheid: es geht um die pet shop boys. neil tennant und chris lowe haben endlich ein neues album veröffentlicht und nicht nur als langjähriger fan kann man nur eines sagen: respekt! die pet shop boys wissen immer wieder, wie sich ein großes pop-album anhören sollte, und auf "fundamental" fügen sie all ihre besten seiten zusammen: kühler electropop, herzzereißende balladen und die ganz großen hymnen finden sich hier. letzten freitag ist "fundamental" veröffentlicht worden und wir von popfiction dürfen morgen, am donnerstag, 25.5. im subzero die offizielle release-party austragen. martin wird ab 23 uhr auflegen (neben den pet shop boys natürlich auch viele andere songs und hits des popfiction-universums) und freut sich sehr darauf.

das obligatorische gewinnspiel sieht so aus: im keller des subzero verstecken wir wieder 6 fehldruck-buttons mit unserem zu klein geratenen logo. wer einen findet, darf sich beim dj einen gewinn abholen. wer zuerst kommt, hat freie auswahl usw.

die gewinne: 1 x das cd-album "fundamental", 1x 7"-vinyl-single "i'm with stupid", 1x maxi-cd "i'm with stupid", und 3 aktuelle maxi-singles der pet shop boys. buttons gibt's auch noch, und zwar nicht zu wenige!
