I made it to the Barbican - the Saturday night performance. I couldn't believe my luck when Scott stood up to accept his applause! At long last I got to clap eyes on the man, I went back to my hotel a very happy bunny. I like Climate Of Hunter, fave being, Sleepwalkers Woman. Have you heard, Plague Songs? That is one weird peace of music. I haven't heard any of Bill Fay's stuff. Will search for him on here to rectify that.

Oh, I listen to everything, I even made it to the Barbican event last year. But I must confess a preference for the 60's stuff, being a 60's boy at heart if not by birth. Also really like the much underrated Climate of Hunter. Have you listened to any Bill Fay?

I have heard Paloma's music and do like it. Did she appear on Jools' show? I'm sure she did. Jamie bought Lisa Hannigans album, that is good too - do you like her stuff? ~X~

Hello Polly ... thanks a lot for caring and visiting ... I'm definitely leaving for the hospital ... they are even plannig to come and get me ... not exactly against my will ... but certainly against my free will ... I'm scared ... However, I know an elegant and affectionate young English"Lady Of A Certain Age" ( yes, it's been a long time I love the song -as sad as refined and graceful, luxurious - and "The Divine Comedy" 's output) knows and cares about me and still dreams, as I used to, listening to beautiful and romantic songs by our beloved Scott and epigons ... - "You wouldn't think that I was badly depressed and useless" then you'd say - "no, you couldn't be!" ...You graciously and kindly told me to pick me up, dust me off ... As Nietzsche said "We have art and only art in order not to die of the truth" ... and yet art lives off the life ... and well .. enough of this ... I dream, you dream, Scottie dreams ... Long life dreams and, for you ... Nicest kisses and warmest embrace..

Been sleepwalking here a while again .. Even through this desperate hours that (sorry) may lead me to seek treatment in a hospital pretty soon I'm so glad that I find here in LastFm people such as you, cultured, sensitive and really nice and warm.. Well .. that's it .. I wanted to warn my new friends and let them know how happy I am with these lucky "random-intuitive" meetings I've been through lately ... I'm sorry for speaking out this sad "getting-old" story .. It's just that I'd hate dissapearing from view letting my new wonderful LastFm friends wondering what was everything about .. If I'm not around maybe you can take care of little Pinchy_Lobster (Laura), 16 U.K. and maybe not letting her yet into the beautiful dramas of Scottie, and she could keep you company as well .. She's much more into N.Drake and Nirvana stuff and has a beautiful goat as avatar.. Many of my friends, new and old, are wonderful human beings as you are and I feel sad I can't cope with things..1000Kisses:*:*:*

T-h-a-n-k Y-o-u V-e-r-y M-u-c-h Polly ... I really appreciate and I feel honoured you share with me your lifelong passion for Scott Walker and the music ... I shall go to bed now ... I've stayed up all night until now just scrobbling Scott Walker's songs and crying a bit or more now and then ... Lately I feel myself like Big Louise ( no joke at all ) ... or the Two Ragged Soldiers ... or ... Well ... enough of sad things ... Scott brings beauty and dignity to these and other painful situations and lately even shapes with audacity the most sordid and dark corners of the human soul ... A true genius and a life of legend, from Top Ten and teens (like when you missed him when 15 yrs old) to intelectualism, seclusion, booze and "The Drift" ... Again really glad to share this with you ... You tell me whatever you feel like about whatever you're up to ... I'm afraid this is not the last time I'm passionately shoutin' you about your "old fave"... Lots of kisses and cheers... Yours, Igor.

Hi Polly, nice to hear from you, where did you see the ballet? It was on in a few places, I saw it in Leicester. A few of my friends saw it in the Royal Festival Hall in London. Scott was there on both nights sitting at the back of the theatre with friends. I wished I could have made it to that one!

Sobre mim

I adore music old and new and am always on the look out for new talent.

Saying that, I always go back to my old fave, Scott Walker. It's as if, after listening to new music, I need my fix of really good music....if you get my drift.....
