haha i definitely agree with you there. and ahh, no doubt. a few of my friends are like that too, and it makes me feel normal haha. i'm almost as a big movie/tv snob than i am a music snob. crazy huh? i can't stand reality television (looking at you Jersey Shore), really bad movies that everyone likes (Transformers), and i've seen every Seinfeld episode more than 10 times. haha.

yeah, i did at first. i think i have him somewhere in my laptop, so i'll have to listen to him soon. and i love music that makes you think, but i think Aesop just didn't make any sense to me when i listened to him before, but i was 16 at the time, and i would like to think i've gotten smarter since then, haha. and yeah, i'm sure i will. i saw his video "old man raps" first and really like it. but that kid's haircut made me want to kill someone haha.

ah, i see. very logical response really. the same goes for me and Black Star, which was the very first "real" hip-hop album i ever listened to. i remember i watched Italian Job and was bored so i downloaded their album and never looked back haha. my favorite now is Jay Electronica though, but he's real lazy in releasing music. and hmm, i've always respected the hell outta Aesop but haven't listened to him much. it's about time i've changed that. and haha, i think i came across your profile through his shoutbox. i downloaded like his entire discography today. and then i found out he was Filipino like me haha.

ah, i see. makes sense. you are a more focused listener than even me then, m'am haha. i have so many artists in my library i haven't even listened to, it's becoming a problem. that's awesome though, you've heard a shitload more rappers than i have. who's your all-time favorite?

haha really though, you're everywhere. and when you say you like underground hip-hop...you weren't joking haha. i've never HEARD of your top 10, and i pride myself in knowing a lot of rappers 99% of people don't know. do you go out of your way to listening to them? haha just kiddin'. and thanks, its a cool little side-project i suppose.

I finally got around to listening to that Roots/John Legend album and I was kinda disappointed. I was expecting a lot more Black Thought and a lot less John Legend

As far as Hip-Hop goes, I've been really into Sean Price, Brother Ali, Jean Grae, Bambu, and The Coup. I've gotta check out some of those names you mentioned

I played the hell out of it last night and most of today. You won't be disappointed. Seems like we have similar taste in music. Anything you can recommend?
