Hello, What would you recommend Hip-Hop wise for stuff late 80s and early 90s. I'm not really after commercial artist but mainly the underground.

Mainstream HipHop: the golden age (early nineties), some musthaves: Ice Cube "Death Certificate", Da Lench Mob "Guerillas in Tha Mist", De La Soul "Buhloone Mind State", Notorius B.I.G. "Ready To Die" (!!!), Nas "Illmatic", Outkast "Southerplayalisticcadillacmuzick" etc... and some guitar (from hc to rock): Refused (!!!), Dead Kennedy (Basics;-)), The Velvet Underground (even more Basics;-), and if you like R&B: Mary J. Blige is a must, she is the queen also Jill Scott "Words & Sounds Vol. I), Angie Stone and Ledisi Okay, hope you´ll find some things you like;-) peace, im out...
