Na ja, also beide Jesus Lizard Alben klingen einfach wahnsinnig gut.

It seems you didn't heard about MHE. If you like Mr. Chop (or Malcolm Catto, The Heliocentrics) you should try it! Try that one if you can find it : http://www.discogs.com/MHE-MHESAMPLER/release/1803216 I would do anything to get a solid copy of it.

Yeah, the Shaolin Afronauts album is cool. Nothing extremely original, but catchy afrofunk/-jazz/-beat. Check out a hip'n'urban live video of the title track here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TziyuoXWUlU I guess a 3-3.5 rating from you. ;)

Well it's true that they need to shape in terms of consistency, but each of their albums has a song of near perfection ("Young Adult Friction" and "Belong"), that I can forgive them a bit for that. And the second album has a few more good songs.

Ok, I'll check Automatic next. So far I prefer Darklands. At least Psychocandy is much better than the borefest that is Loveless. But if I like The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and those other contemporary shoegaze/jangle pop bands I should like the old ones too... I'll try Isn't Anything once more as well.

I think I listened to a Toussaint compilation and I remember not being too impressed, but I'll try it again. And I have a Arve Henriksen record which I like, although the Silent albums sounded a bit too cerebral, I think But thanks for the recommendations. And now I'm even listening to the Jesus & Mary Chain!

Sobre mim

Blame will unleash upon the bystanders this time, so better close your eyes and run!

Note regarding my listening stats: I play music that's new to me a lot, and in this case I usually don't scrobble.
