So, I'm not going to be home from Wednesday to probably late Saturday next week... Leaving on a vacation of sorts...! Which means I'm going to miss the Fifth Anniversary Celebration, on the day it's being celebrated, which is Friday... I mean, you've been celebrating for awhile now, but that is the _exact_ date. The twenty fifth. That your blog endeavor turns five years old. So I want to Congratulate you in advance, for reaching this milestone, and committing yourself to continuing to share such good, underappreciated music with the people lucky enough to discover Pachinko Overdrive and share in your output :) For that long a period of time you have. Committed yourself. It's really a wonderful thing :)

I'm sorry I've been so neglectful in commenting on those really good things too... They aren't being ignored by my ears, because I _did_ listen to the third Astro Sounds... I'm just rotten about commenting extensively. You're currently getting inspired by "Moonrise Kingdom" though...? Oooooo! That sounds so promising~ ...Unless you're going to reach to the Sixties like Wes Anderson likes to. ...I'm kidding! Kidding! You could.

Anyhow, thanks for sending along the Eggstone and putting the Liner Notes for my mix in a format where I could read them... Did I tell you, I was at a Magic Show, and the Magician asked for a child assistant from the audience, right... So this... He was probably eleven or twelve, anyway... This kid volunteers, anyway, and the subject of a walkman is brought up... The Magician was like "Do you know what a Walkman is?". The kid was all "No". Boy did I feel old... Reading your liner notes reminded me of that story, since you were talking about Walkmen... That is so awesome that your selections would fit on a cassette tape, if I were able to put them on there. I am personally still convinced that the Walkman and cassette tapes are going to come back someday, so... Perhaps I'll have that very opportunity :) As ever though, I'm happy to be the recipient of mixes containing some of your current obsessions, or re-discovered obsessions, since you're always listening to really good things~

It's cool to hear The Wolf Amoung Us ended as strongly as it began, too... I continue to be discouraged by the amount of reported quick time events...! But you're never going to get better at things unless you do them repeatedly, so I should start looking at things that way, I suppose. And, if all else fails, that's what brothers are for :) And, I don't know, I think that may be my kind of game playing, actually... The ones that focus more on storytelling and leave the action elements mostly by the wayside... At least there's almost a guarantee that you'll be able to beat the game and see the whole story unfold, unlike most other games I play, where I never get to see the ending because I'm not skilled enough to get there :\\ Skilled enough, or committed enough to level up my dudes so I can better beat the bad guys and stuff. I did manage to beat "Ni no Kuni" though, finally, so perhaps that'll encourage me to take on proper RPGs and stuff again...

But eventually, for sure. I will. Watch it. You made it sound really good, and the cover they're displaying on Netflix has her riding on this winged dinosaur looking thing, which is pretty awesome, so. Have to check it out. I really do think so. Netflix users were kinder in their reviews, too... They gave it a little over four stars :0 And, I don't know, maybe I'm getting more used to female leads, or at least letting myself be charmed by them, considering how much I liked the lead actress in both "Late Spring" and "Late Autumn"(same director, same actress, supposedly "different" movies, but not really, since the plots were almost identical and so were the outcomes), and I didn't mind Black Widow in that last Captain America movie either... I mean, not that it was her movie. But she was featured a lot. Mostly. And she didn't get on my nerves too much, and I wasn't wishing for her death or anything. Kind of. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation, regardless :)

But it had some funny-ish moments in it too, which surprised me, because I wasn't expecting to find them... One in particular, anyway, right at the beginning, when the one guy goes to kick the mirror off the car who hit him and then drove away, but his flying kick totally failed :D I think there may have been at least one other time where I laughed, but I can't remember what over... It was good, anyway. The movie was. A messed up ending, that I suppose I maybe should have seen coming, but I got caught up in the idea of a mother's perseverance Saving the Day and her Son's Freedom, I suppose, so I was kind of counting on the movie to go that way, and it didn't at all. Still, a good movie. And do you know what movie I could sit and watch today, if I wanted? Your "Adele" movie :0 Netflix has it streaming, which is kind of awesome... Today was my litter box cat duty day, though, so I'm probably going to spend the rest of today napping and recovering... Maybe tomorrow...

stand to profit from this movie... Or whoever took on his estate isn't going to profit, anyway, cos he's passed away... But they're still going to use his name in promotional materials and the like :\\ We still have a standing bet on how well it's going to do at the box office though, right...? We'll get to find out next weekend. Who gets bragging rights over how well they're able to predict these things :D I don't know how many fanboys are going to take on Alan Moore's boycott, though... I still think if it doesn't do well, it's because it looks like a terrible movie. Or just sounds like a rotten idea. Which is what I'm insisting on going with. The rotten idea thing. Anyway, I spent two hours of my time yesterday watching "Mother", finally... I waited too long to watching it streaming on Netflix, and it'd disappeared, so I had to rent it instead... You said it'd be a Bleak Movie Watching Time, right...? Or would make for one. It did, I suppose...

Transformers 4?? I was threatened with that too, did I tell you...? But nothing more has come of it, so I think I'm good, and can continue to go about the rest of my life without ever having seen a single Transformers movie. And I imagine that would be the absolute worst one to see, considering it's verging on three hours o_o ...Unless they all have. I really don't know. That seems like a huge trial of patience, though, to ask teenage boys to take on... I'm assuming that's their targeted audience, anyway... But yeah, I wish you the best of luck, anyway! With that. And speaking of Action Type Movies, did you already hear about Alan Moore calling for a boycott of the new Hercules movie? I had zero interest in seeing it anyway, but at least now I have a legitimate reason as to why I don't want to... That's pretty darn messed up, how the guy that wrote the comic this is being based on doesn't

BTW! The Final World Cup Battle hasn't been waged yet, right? Best of Luck to your home team~ Gooooo Germany :D They had a story on the News, where the Barnum and Bailey had their elephant predict who he felt was going to be the winner by kicking a soccer ball in to that teams goal... He went for Germany :D That is a Sign~

And the power of the Creative, Ambitious Human Mind. And that those inventions sometimes get twisted and used in ways they maybe weren't intended to... That's an unfortunate offshoot, for sure. And, I don't know, the one thing I ended up being most curious about after seeing the movie is whether or not he really had a wife who died from... What was it, tuberculosis...? But the Internet wasn't very helpful in assisting in finding that out, since his Wikipedia page didn't mention anything about it. Like, I wondered if he happened to contract it too, since she had it and that's a contagious thing, from my understanding. But he didn't, because he died of pneumonia instead, so... But yeah, that was my chief concern. Go figure.

I think Tj told me he made the same decision too, though, so I felt a little bit better about that... But yeah, still haven't bought additional chapters to play, but I hear the final chapter is out, so I'd be able to finish the whole game if I did. Purchase them all. Which would be cool. Hopefully, eventually :) Anyway, I'm glad to hear you liked The Wind Rises as much as you did :) It really was a fine way for Miyazaki to leave things, if he truly _is_ leaving, because I heard he's been "retired" a couple of times before... Or at least once before, anyway, and it didn't stick... We can only hope, right...? Not that I want to deny someone the right to a nice, quiet retired life if that's what they truly want for themselves, but... And, I don't know, I suppose considering the backdrop the story was set behind, you couldn't help but address War Things, but that wasn't what the movie was really about, right? Like you said, it was about having a Dream, and Realizing It...

And I definitely want to see "Locke", having heard nothing but tremendously good things about it... It isn't going to be released in the theater here, though, so Home Video release it is... Back to the topic of The Wolf Amoung Us for a minute... Yeah, I felt like a dummy in the scenario you discussed... Where you're given a choice of visiting the Prince who hooked up with Donkey Skin Girl or going to solve the problem Toad was having... Because I went to go see Toad T_T Who seemed to have the more pressing problem, considering the dude was right in the apartment, ransacking the place as Toad was on the telephone with me, so the way I figured it... That dude isn't going to stick around if I go to see the other guy first, so I better go see Toad. ...Even though all signs pointed to indicating the Prince guy was totally going to kill himself, or he was on the verge of dying, or whatever. But nooooo, that wasn't enough for me. So, he died. And, I felt like a Jerk.

Sounds like you've had some interesting Movie Times... I remember reading a review for "Under the Skin" when it first came out a couple of months ago... Their review ended up becoming a whole article about why Famous Actors choose to star in these quirky little Indie films when they don't have to... The assumption was that they still want to prove they have Artistic Credibility or something, even though they're in big budget action movies like The Avengers... I think that was the general tone the article took, anyway. And they ended up not really getting Under the Skin, and didn't give it a terribly favorable grade, I don't think...? Maybe a B- or a C. Which isn't too terrible, considering. I don't know if I'll ever watch it... It didn't sound like my Thing... But I _will_ be seeing that particular actress in a new movie before too long, since it's been decided that "Lucy" will be on my Summer Movie Going list. I don't know how to feel about that, still...

And you know, I was watching The Raid 2 again the other day, because it's out on DVD now and everything, and I get what you meant about some of the violence being excessive... Like when dudes and well and dead, and their heads keep being smashed repeatedly in to the pavement and stuff... Totally and completely unnecessary, that sort of thing is. I mean, not that I don't like seeing guys pounded in to bloody pulps, but, I don't know... I understood your point, anyway. I think I'm going to have to finally check out Ong-Bak too, considering I _still_ haven't seen it... My brother says I only have to watch the first one, since two and three are... They're just not worth my time, I guess. So, yeah, I'll adjust my Netflix queue accordingly, soon~

Boooooo. Oh! But if you could also include me in on a share of Spanish Slalom, please? I have been looking for that Best Of for forever, because there are definitely new Eggstone songs on it... Or ones that will be new to me, anyway. I could only ever find it on vinyl, though, and never bought a copy... And even if I did, I couldn't play it, being that I don't have that vinyl ripper program thing hooked up and usable... But yeah, that'd be awesome, then. You're so lucky to continue to be so gosh darn resourceful about these things...

(the James Brown one that is going to be released soon and the Jimi Hendrix one that is already released and sounds Mostly Awful), and then we hit on the subject of the B-52s and how good their second album is... Well, my Dad was telling me how good it is, and I could only sit and listen and take the recommendation because I haven't heard it... The last time I checked, nothing but their most recent album and a best of was available on Spotify, but now their entire back catalog is on there... My Dad had me listen to his favorite song, "Dirty Back Road" through the ear buds he had with him, and it was Instant Love... So that's all I've wanted to listen to :) But I'm totally going to be jamming on your mix in a little bit. I'm really, really, really grateful you made me one... I appreciate it, for sure :) ...But unfortunately. I can't read the liner notes that came along with it :( The type of file it is... My computer doesn't have the program, and it's like "Well, you've got to buy it".

noticed was at the end, when, instead of finding older actors that looked like the younger actors playing The Four Seasons, they put Old Age make-up on the young actors to age them, because the movie ended on them being inducted in to the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame... The Old Age make-up was _bad_, though. So bad. So bad. Awful, terrible, laughable. Like, two wrinkles at the corner of each guys eye constituted "old". That's the kind of make-up it was. But, I don't know. I enjoyed listening to the music, and I didn't think the story they were telling was horribly uninteresting or lacked the necessary amount of drama... _Plus_ this guy was watching "Ace in the Hole" in his apartment, which thrilled me a lot, cos that's still in my Netflix queue and everything to be watched... So, I think I'd give the movie a five. Which is fair. Maybe. Right in the middle. Anyway, after the movie we headed to McDonalds and I got a Birthday Sundae, and we sat around talking about music and biopics

I knew the songs he was famous for, and it turns out I was mistakenly attributing songs to him that he didn't even do, because I was waiting the whole movie to hear them play/perform "Lightening Strikes", and they never did... They didn't, because that isn't a song he performed. Huh. I thought with the falsetto and everything, it had to be Frankie Valli, but No... Anyway, my father hated the movie. And he thinks Clint Eastwood is going senile for ever having thought it would be a good idea to direct it. Which is pretty funny as a thought, and I kind of thought the exact same thing when I heard he was doing it... It's just a bizarre pairing in my mind, but maybe he had legit good reasons for taking on the project... I don't know... But my Dad complained cos the songs were mostly played out of order, and he hated the appearance of just about every single person in the movie because they had this weird pancaked make-up look... I didn't really notice that, though. The only bad make-up _I_

Thank you very much for the Birthday gift and wishes, Percy :) I plan on delving in to that right after I get over the fixation my Dad implanted in me when I saw him on my Birthday... He took me to go see "Jersey Boys". Which is not the current fixation, by the way. Frank Valli and his music and stuff. It wasn't an awful movie, though. Jersey Boys wasn't. Or maybe I liked it better than I should have because I enjoy seeing the Inner Workings of Band, be they horribly over-dramatized or not, which I'm sure this one was. But seeing how a band comes together, and how they different personalities mesh, or Don't, is really interesting to me. And there was quite a bit of that in this movie, and then the Mob ties, which I didn't realize existed... And they weren't, like, really prevalent or anything, but I didn't know they were there at all... But, then again, I didn't know much about Frank Valli to begin with, until I saw this biopic.

Also, thanks for the Happy Fourth wishes :) I did indeed have delicious cook out foods and saw an Amazing fireworks display... I didn't know fireworks could be shaped in to Actual Shapes, but they set one off that looked like a star! It was so cool! And then they had these ones that would burst open halfway, and then a trail would still keep going a little above the first burst and burst into something itself. So it was like two fireworks for the price of one, since there were two separate explosions in one firework. So darn cool~ I had no idea they were able to have such fancy fireworks technologies, but there they were!

And you know, I don't think I've ever seen "Nightbreed" :0 Sounds like I should be waiting for this Director's Cut before I do, hm...? That's something Tj will totally be interested in hearing about too, cos he has developed this huge love and respect for Clive Barker lately... Well, Clive Barker the Author, anyway. I don't know about Clive Barker the Movie Director. I'll have to ask him about that...

But yeah, I completely agree that it was a tad too long... It totally could have been trimmed down. Still. It was dazzling, for the most part. Hoping to hear a bit more positivity when you review "The Wind Rises", too....! :D And yeah, I heard about the... Unique approach Linklater made with "Boyhood"... It's a shame to hear it didn't make for overly compelling movie watching, though. But, I kind of have to admire his ambition, anyway. So, like you, it would get a couple of points right off the bat for that alone. I don't know if I'll ever get around to actually watching it though...? We'll see. It doesn't sound like I really should or have to...

But they said it's Awesome. And you said it's Mostly Awesome. So that's pretty cool :) I'm a little bummed to hear you didn't care for The Raid 2 as much as I did...! Maybe watching a non-dubbed version will help in enjoying it slightly more, because that's how I originally saw it and I didn't have too much trouble with the acting and stuff... Not that I even gave too much thought to storylines and the like, being so blown away with the fight scenes :0 The part where the main dude is fighting all the prisoners in the bathroom stall? And man, I thought the Hammer Lady was great! And Baseball Dude! Especially when he's abusing the one guy with his baseballs, right. Pegging them right at him. So the dude being pegged with the baseball picks up said baseball and throws it away from him. Baseball Dude was all "That was a bad decision, man", and then proceeds to beat the dude to death with his bat :D I'm pretty sure that's what happened, anyway~

And then I got inspired to re-watch the first two Mad Max movies, after reading an article about the new one, which I'm pretty interested in seeing... The same dude that directed the original movies is going to be directing this one too, and I didn't realize that, and he was saying how he's hoping to move the story along with, like, explosions and fight scenes and little dialog, which should be interesting... Little to no chance of cheesy one liners creeping in there :D The last issue of Entertainment Weekly that I read was an Apocalyptic Movie Special, so their cover story was the new Mad Max and then they had an article about Snowpiercer too, which they praised up one side and down the other... They said it's a Summer Movie Viewing Experience like no other, and really needs to be seen... There's no sign it's actually going to be shown in the theaters around here though, so goodness knows if I can take both them and you up on the recommendation :(

So if that were a genre of movie, this one would totally be part of it. Basically, you get to watch a middle aged man be a total pervert creep for an hour and a half. Which made for extremely uncomfortable watching for me... No, I don't want to see an older man attempt to mack on two sixteen year old French tourists. No, I don't want to see him envision topless ladies when he's on this flight simulation ride. What one has to do with the other, goodness knows, but... You get to watch some guy being a Pervert Creep, and then they throw in this nonsense "Disney Land/World is secretly being controlled by some French Terrorist dude for reasons unknown!" plot twist, and it's just Lame. Lame. Stupid and Lame and Wasted Time, is all the movie amounts to. I barely want to give it any kind of numerical grade, that's how awful it was. But maybe it's this Subversive Masterpiece that completely went over my head, so, you know. Other people could get something from it that totally escaped me.

I was totally bummed that in my ending Snow White died, though, but that happened in Tj's ending too so I'm thinking it was just one of those Unavoidable Things. Possibly. Did she also die at the end of your first chapter completion...? So yeah, I played through that, and now I'm totally obsessed with collecting Fables volumes, comic book wise, so that should be fun to get started on... I also made the mistake of watching horrible movies of my own, with mine being Escape from Tomorrow... Found out it's streaming on Netflix, and ever since hearing the director employed Guerrilla type shooting methods for the film... He actually shot some of it on location at Disney Land/World, but secretly... And the whole idea of a Horror Movie set in that location seemed neat... But it wasn't a Horror movie at all, despite what the poster art may lead you to believe :( And it's not a Thriller either. It's mostly just Stupid.

I don't know why either! Because generally I'm the type of person who is a total sucker and is like "let me help you in any way that I can, by giving you my moneys and stuff". This time, I was like "No, I'm going to keep my moneys", and I did. I mean, she was probably going to die anyway, considering that's the crime that you're solving. So it would have been wasted money. Still, though. I would have been the better guy and better person if I'd given it to her. I think so. But I didn't. So I just got to feel like a jerk. And a double jerk when I wouldn't give the pig that came to visit me any alcohol until the last possible moment, but then again not really, because I don't want to support that kind of delinquency in anyone, and especially not in animals. Drunk people are bad enough... We don't need alcoholic pigs too. No matter how hard their life has been. I really do think so. But yeah! It was a good beginning of a game, anyway.

"Who is going to put flowers on the grave of flowers?". Something along that idea. That when, like, flowers die, who is going to mourn for them and put flowers on _their_ graves. For one thing, flowers don't get proper burials. And for another thing, how is that fair, to pick and choose which flowers get buried and which flowers have to serve as being Memorial Flowers for their friends? Why don't those flowers get a proper burial too? Or maybe they do, once they have put in a couple of weeks of Time Served. Or maybe Tom Waits meant you should put artificial flowers on the graves of real flowers. Anyway, it's a tremendously stupid point, I think. So anyway, anyway. I found that I'm even worse at decision making than I am at random button prompting as a way of fighting, so that was another struggle in The Wolf Amoung Us... I kept trying to be Nice, and then unintentionally offending people and making rotten decisions. And I didn't give any money to Donkey Girl, when she needed it :(

Back! These past couple of weeks have been kind of... But I played The Wolf Amoung Us in my time away! Finished all of the first chapter. All by myself. Which is a little bit of a miracle in itself considering I'm terrible at those random button prompt fight scenes, so particularly when I had to fight Grendel, I got my butt kicked more often than not. ...Or maybe I should be singling out my first fight with the Woodsman in his apartment, because I actually died during that one a couple of times, and I didn't die at all during the Grendel fight. I just repeatedly had to take on punches and the like because I didn't dodge them or counter-attack or anything. But I think properly dying is a whole new and separate level from simply "getting your butt kicked"... It's like, Beyond getting your butt kicked. Getting your butt kicked and buried and then people put flowers on your grave and oh my goodness Tj was telling me that Tom Waits actually has a song whose title is something like

..I haven't actually seen anything Cumberbatch has been in put Sherlock, come to think of it. I mean, I heard him in the second Hobbit movie. But that doesn't exactly count, since it was just voice acting. What didn't you like about his acting in the other things you saw him in...? He just doesn't do well playing roles other than Neurotic Sherlock...? And yeah, it would totally suck to have another delay in Sherlock episodes... But I'd be almost willing to forgive it, if it were Doctor Strange it were being delayed for :D We'll see what develops~ ...Okay, and one more question about Nightcrawler and Mystique, in the movies. Now, they actually made it so they _are_ Mother and Son? Or did they completely ignore that connection? It doesn't matter too much, cos I won't ever watch them, but I'm curious, so...

movie he makes, when it involves monsters, because I'd say that about Monsters too. It needed more Monsters :\\ But, for a tiny budget movie, I agree with you... They worked well with what they had~ Have you seen a trailer for "Big Hero 6" yet...? I saw one yesterday, before "Maleficent"... Which I will not bother leaving a review for, because I can't imagine you'll ever see it... It was good, though. Maleficent was. I enjoyed it, and the tinkering they did to her character to give her a backstory and make her kind of, sort of sympathetic, and not completely and totally villainous. But yeah, "Big Hero 6" looks like it's going to be good. It has this super cute robot in it, if nothing else... So that's totally reason to go see it. And the fact it was made by the people who did Wreck-It Ralph~ But yeah, you should hunt down a trailer, if you haven't seen one yet... Continuing on with Marvel Talk... Since "Big Hero 6" is. A Marvel property.

When has that ever worked out :\\ Really. Ever. But I was thinking it was probably one of those... Like, they were trying to make a statement about America trying to keep Real Aliens Out(as in, foreigners), and how that's bad. Or whatever. Possibly. If the aliens fly though. And these ones did. Or did they just hover, kind of...? Maybe a Giant Wall would keep them out, then. If they could fly above it. But if they could, I don't understand the purpose of that wall. And they ended up getting in to America anyway, so, you know... But maybe that was because the wall wasn't done yet. It didn't look like it was completely finished, anyway. But yeah, it was an okay movie. The setting, when they're still in Mexico, and traveling through the Infected Zone? That was nice to look at. The forest. And I'm glad doing that movie made it so Gareth Edwards was handed Godzilla, because I still think he did a good job with it. I just hope I don't keep saying "It needs more Monster Footage!" with every

They only made the first chapter/episode available, and want you to pay twenty bucks for the rest of them... Blah... But I may have just taken the first step of investing a lot of time and money in Fables related things anyhow, because I picked up the first issue of the comic... I think I was telling you, it's a dollar, and I was debating about checking it out, because I didn't know if I wanted to become invested in a series that has one hundred issues in it so far :0 But, I'm gonna. And if I become obsessed, so be it~ My wallet can mourn later~ Oh! And I watched "Monsters". It was pretty alright... Kind of like of of those Voyage of Self Discovery and Romance! movies, just with monsters in the background... So that was kind of... I mean, at least they were attempting character development. Terribly obvious character development. But character development all the same. And the Aliens looked good. I just don't quite get why our solution seems to be "Build a Giant Wall!" to them...

So there is this section that showed examples of what "madness" was supposed to look like. So yeah, there's all this supplementary information that I will probably be too lazy to make use of... :D Or not. We'll see. Secondly! Wouldn't you know it, the free PSN game of the month is "The Wolf Amoung Us" :0 Tj has been playing it, and was incredibly impressed by it, but I already knew, without his recommendation, that I wanted to check it out because you were telling me about it months ago :) So, I should start playing that soon... Okay, I already went to the library and got my copy of Jekyll and Hyde, so I'm ready to go... I get to feel like a Complete Goon, too, reading it, because it's an illustrated version... I mean, _I_ know I don't need the aide of picture enhancement, and I also know that I really didn't have a choice in the matter because all of the other copies with much cooler colors and no illustrations were either checked out, or just available at other libraries outside of town so I would have had to put them on hold and then wait for them to be sent to my library, and goodness knows how long _that_ could have taken... And I guess as far as illustrated versions go, this one isn't so bad, because not only are there the illustrations, but there are a bunch of pictures too, of England from that period, to give you an idea of what the streets looked like, what people wore, and they even have this little section on... I guess back then, there was this idea that all depending on what your face looked like

I finished the first Percy Jackson book last night :) So if you're free for book clubbing again... Or if you aren't, I can read manga in the meantime until you are. I didn't have the nerve to ask Tj if I could borrow his Kindle... He uses that thing, like, every single day, for television watching and music listening and game playing and all sorts of things, and I'd feel like a Jerk if I took it away from him... So I think I'm just going to hit up the library and find a copy. Which, again, shouldn't be too hard, or confusing, deciding between copies. Which there are sure to be plenty of. So, I'll wait for the Green Light, then... Having just told you to not wait for me, but then a couple of days later completely changing my tune T_T I'm sorry for being so difficult all of the time...

..Okay, did I read that correctly, and Mystique and Nightcrawler have a kid...? In the X-Men Movie-Verse? Are you serious? Even though she's supposed to be his _mother_? And that's disturbing and super gross to even think about? What the heck, man! ...If they did indeed make Beast Gay though, that is kind of Awesome. But not them hooking up a mother and son. And I'm sure they explained _that_ coupling away by being all "Well, they both have Blue Skin, so of course they'd be compatible". Uh huh. Man, I tell you. The more I hear about the things they screwed up in those movies, the angrier I get :\\

hit the road... Maybe they finally realized what an awful idea it sounded like. Or someone involved in the production did. And made a convincing case to everyone else. My goodness.

to death. Their own fault. But yeah, the storyline was generally the same. And ended with Gamera being blasted off in to space and becoming Mars' problem, which is still super messed up. I'd like to move on to different Gamera storylines though... Oh, and back to the topic of Doctor Strange! Did you hear who they're eying to hopefully cast in the title role? Benedict Cumberbatch or Tom Hardy :D! :D! :D! I haven't seen Tom Hardy in enough stuff to really know how I'd feel about him being put in that role, but man, Cumberbatch would be so good *_* I hope he accepts their offer *_* It would be Awesome~ It would~ Oh boy, and speaking of roles and casting... I keep forgetting to discuss this with you! Were you also lolling about Johnny Rotten being cast in the latest production of Jesus Christ Superstar? :D And did you laugh even harder when the product didn't even get to open? Boy was I. Laughing and laughing. I'm not entirely sure why, but they cut all plans right before it was going to

And then there was this Awesome Theme Song that I don't remember being part of the other black and white Gamera that I saw... It was primarily used in this one scene set in Japan... Gamera was attacking while all these kids were at a dance club, dancing to a band's version of that theme song... Gamera is attacking, right, and the military barges in to tell the kids he is, but the band is all "We don't care he's attacking! We just want to dance!". ...Or maybe it was one of the kids actually dancing that said all that, considering the dudes in the band weren't dancing themselves. So it wouldn't have made any sense for them to be the ones saying something like that. Just providing the music to dance _to_. If they said, like, "We just want to stay and party!", that would definitely have been more fitting, because they were totally partying. Just not dancing. No. Anyway, so they stayed and danced. The kids did. And probably got crushed

called Late Spring yesterday, which had an incredibly charming lead lady in it... I have "Late Autumn" recorded to watch too, which I plan on getting to Sooner rather than Later... It's a sequel of sorts, I'm thinking... But yeah, all kinds of movie watching. Or more than I've been accustomed to lately, anyway. Totally going to add Monsters to that. Yes. Oh, and then I watched that Gamera movie I was telling you about too. And I realized that three of the Gamera movies I've seen all had similar plots because they're all variations on his origin story. Like, okay... There's the original Japanese Gamera, right? Which I saw. And then I saw the more recent remake. And I'm quite sure the Gamera I just saw was the American version of the Japanese original, because there was no Japanese language track, and quite a few Americans scattered throughout the movie.

Working again! ...For now. ...Undoubtedly temporarily. Thanks for the tip about Monsters! It is indeed streaming on there, and I've been a bit better lately, with watching movies that are... Or watching movies in general... I was told about this cool site called letterboxd, where you can create a Movie Diary... Basically, you're logging down the movies you watch as you watch them, and giving them ratings and stuff. With the option of leaving reviews too, but goodness knows I'd never do that since I don't have too much to contribute in that area. No. But I've been kind of taken with the idea of having things to add to my account, so I watched "Kwaidan" the other day, and "Hellraiser Inferno", after finding out that the dude who is going to be directing Doctor Strange probably, hopefully directed it...! And then I got the bonus surprise that James Remar(aka Ajax from The Warriors :D) was in it...! So that was cool. And also, streaming. The movie was. And then I was watching a movie...

Your label compilations aren't going to make their way over to PO as part of a whole new series...? I think that would be really cool :) But if you have too much content as it is...

hundred and fifty or so. It's just finding the time, you know... When I'm home, I've been splitting my time between manga, Percy Jackson, and finally getting around to watching "Firefly"... I'm curious, too... What are the relationship statuses' on BBT? Penny and Leonard are supposed to be getting married or whatever, right? Does Raj have a lady yet? Sheldon isn't getting married too, right? :\\ I heard they're supposed to be wrapping that show up in, like, two or three seasons, finally... Which gives them plenty of time to marry off all their nerds, I imagine. Or maybe Sheldon will stay single, and they'll hook him back up with his cat hoard. Which would be the best ending for me~ For his character. Knowing he had that Future ahead for himself. Yes.

You should be able to comment on your expectations for his performance, I think, considering you've seen him acting in other things :) Good or Bad...? Speaking of Beards. I haven't heard of "Enemy", I don't think...? Doesn't ring a bell, anyway. It sounds kind of interesting, maybe, and I'd be curious about how the story ended, but... A Future Rental, perhaps :) Oh, but good luck finding somewhere to see Days of Future Past! Which I should have said along with my commentary about things related to that movie, but didn't :\\ I expect a trustworthy review once you have :) Seen it. And yeah, we could still read Jekyll and Hyde! But you should work on your piled reading for a little bit first, and then get back to me when you're free... I'm currently reading the first Percy Jackson book... I can't imagine it will take me a long time to get through it, though, because it's quite an easy read, and once I get started I tend to devour at least fifty pages at a time, and the book is only three

But it was an interesting way for me to re-view the casting choices in those movies :0 Like Channing Tatum pushing to play Gambit. Hmmmmmmmmmm. ...That wouldn't be a Bryan Singer choice, though, because the actor himself wants the role, but I can't imagine it would be a casting choice he'd be opposed to. _I_ would be, but then again, I'd probably never see the movie he was playing Gambit in, so what do I care, really~ Did you hear the Daredevil has been cast, for that live action Netflix series that's supposed to be starting up? He's a dude from Boardwalk Empire too :0 And he has a nasty neckbeard in this photo over here, so I sincerely hope he gets rid of that by the time he's playing Daredevil :\\ And I don't want to hear this "He's blind! How can he shave!". There are electric razors. And his sense of touch. He can be clean shaven. He can be.

A script got presented to him that he didn't like the tone of, from my understanding, so he's not going to take part in the project anymore. Fanboys are crying, of course, but they should! Because that was a cool director to get for a Marvel movie, and I was looking forward to seeing what he was going to do with that character and stuff. But I was on this one message board... And this one dude was saying how he thinks even though Marvel seems to be hitting a rough patch in their projects again, fans are still waiting for the time when Spider-Man and the X-Men come back under Marvel again, movie wise, so Marvel Studios can fix the mistakes that have been made with the X-Men movies. Then he went on to say how Bryan Singer's problem is that he doesn't cast male actors in his movies for how well they fit the part, but for how attractive they are so he can hit on them while on set :0 Which... I know you couldn't care less about this stuff... Scandals and the like...

going forward with that character, if they plan to, which they probably will, if the audience is having such a positive reaction to him... He was rooted in the Seventies though, from my understanding. He's one of the Past mutants, not the Future ones. So how are they going to include him in more X-Men movies not set in the Past, and not have him be, like, fifty year old Quicksilver that's not nearly as cool? ...I'm equating his coolness with his Youth here, and that is probably incredibly unfair of me. Maybe he would also be a cool older gentleman. I really couldn't say. All I know is, they couldn't logically have the same actor play him again, and if that were his selling point, they totally messed themselves up. Unless they do some fancy storytelling about why he's Wolverine and Never Ages Ever. Or ages really slowly. Because Wolverine does age. Yeah. Have you been reading some of the fallout from Edgar Wright abandoning the Ant-Man project due to creative differences?

the message they seemed to be collectively sending. He was another person that thought the movie was extremely unfocused too, in what it was trying to say... America is Stupid stabs here, and a collection of other random things that weren't really explained too well... I didn't really... I don't know, I just didn't pick up on that stuff. I think it was because I was so pumped to be seeing Godzilla. So I kind of overlooked just about everything else. Meaning my head and opinions were totally clouded by Monster Mashes. But like I think I was saying before... Now that that reaction is out of the way, I'll have a completely different, or even _slightly_ different reaction to it, and I'll see it for its flaws and stuff. Could be~ I've been hearing an awful lot of good things about Days of Future Past too... Like, supposedly. Quicksilver is the "break out star". Pffft. Not with that hair, I'm sorry. I still think he looks way dumb. Way dumb. And I wonder if they kind of screwed themselves up
