I'm going to lie, I was a little disappointed with it the first few times I listened. It seemed like there weren't really any songs to go with the atmosphere. But the more I've listened, the more the atmosphere kind of becomes the songs. They have this really modest intensity about them. It's really good. They really are just great songwriters, which is what carries it, I think. Their singer knows how to write a great vocal line that gets stuck in your head, even when it shouldn't.
