I don't even know what the fuck to say about this. I have been listening to black metal for over 15 years now, yet never once in this entire time have I had one single song ever affect me such as This Dreadful Emptiness has. It is simply the most profound experience I've had in quite a long time. It moved, yet saddened me to the point of despair nearly. Think about this; When was the last time a single track moved you to tears, though your own partner, or children have not been able to do so, nor any other life experience for many years? The last time one track made you question everything that you thought you knew about Black Metal? It affected also how I look at many things in my life, to be honest. This is simply one of, if not the single greatest things I have experienced in many long years of emptiness, & anger. Let alone being into this style of music. I am a completely jaded, & cynical person throughout, yet I feel the passion & remember again why I love Black Metal so much...
