    I first heard Seth Lakeman playing live in Andy Kershaw's excellent program on BBC Radio 4. Ten minutes after, I had ordered "Freedom Fields" from Amazon.co.uk, anxiously waiting for the CD to drop into my mailbox.

    The album is full of catchy melodies (in the folkloristic sence, that is), with lyrics that perfectly match the arthurian style of the music. Especially savory are the tracks "Lady of the sea", "King & Country" and "1643", almost making me with I was born in Devon in the 17th century...
