Trupele din C.S.I. de post-punk sînt o surpriză foarte plăcută. E bine să știi asta.

Hey onealakhazam! Great musical taste! I need to check out some of the artists in your library. I am curious to know what you would think of my friends' band, MANKIND: . Cheers from Sweden

school's pretty hardcore lately haha, good to see you. other than practicing trigonometry/physics like an schizophrenic automaton I've been sampling some Swedish movies and listening to classical/drone/free-improv (for the most part); industrial music really caughts my attention too, lot of harsh stuff and diversity. Have you ever heard of Peter Brötzmann's 'Machine Gun', might annihilate your speakers *caution* hahha~!

Man, I did totally listen to it once, but didn't find it better than KoL or The Eraser. The music video for Ingenue is pretty cool but I prefer the one for Lotus Flower with its crazy Thom Yorke dance. Anyway, they're coming to Slovakia and if I decide to spend my saved money on going there, I'll listen to it more, lol.

The first ten minutes of Drive were amazing, made me so tense I even remained still. The music was also great. Really great. I wondered why it had so many violent scenes then I found out the director was Danish. It explains everything. :D Gosling played well, he was kinda frightening for sure, but I didn't start liking him.

Blade Runner was almost "just" an action sci-fi, that last scene with the chief android guy gave the movie more depth. It was nothing like the novel which lacks physical violence except for some religious mortification with a box which improves the empathy of the users. I recommend the book, it sounds weirder as I wrote down than in the book. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was a reaaally dark comedy with some noir-film elements (was a kind of detective story, after all). I'll download Drive now. :D No-no, I was recommended to listen to Kavinsky and I read a shout on that compared Electric Youth to Little Dragon. But that Chromatics song is good, I'd love them if they never had vocals on their tracks, unfortunately I can't get used to her voice. :(

Forgot to add: Brazil is my favourite movie, I could spend hours praising it. Oookay, it's not perfect in the aspects of which movies are reviewed but I just love it so much, I can't say I've seen a better movie.

What a coincidence! I should really watch 8 1/2 then. Same with Drive: I've been recommended to watch by someone else too, got a song recommendation and it's in the movie, and my current band-obsession has been compared to a band who also have their music in that movie. :D I wasn't really in a film-watching mood for the last two weeks and had to study a lot but since we have two days break and my mood's back into 'normal', I can watch a lot of the mentioned ones.

I have Blade Runner, Memento, Two Days in Paris, The Waking Life and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang downloaded, and we have a lot of DVDs at home, currently want to see 8 1/2 and Persona, two of my mom's favourites. Have you seen any of them? :) Watched the half of Blade Runner but I didn't like it. I had so high expectations, after all it's based on a Philip K. Dick novel (all time favourite author/philisopher) and it's a cult movie, never heard anything bad about it. Terry Gilliam's films are better when it comes to displaying a dystopian future. Now I'll watch the rest of Blade Runner, hoping my opinion would change.:D

I guess Lars von Trier's others works must be as impressive as Dancer in the Dark, the only one I've seen. It was a great one but I cannot say I liked it, more likely it had a great impact on me. I've been reading so many science fiction that maybe I'll start reding something different. We were learning about moderism some weeks ago, I didn't like Kafka but I'm sure I'll read more novels by Thomas Mann. Yup, I luv Innerspeaker!!44 (Well, two years have passed and my musical taste is not only about British indie rock, classic rock and Icelandic music anymore. XD)

H.P. Lovecraft, nice work on putting the squirrel cover for Death Grips. That black box cover is wretched!
