No offense taken, I agree with your thesis about Mozart vs. Radiohead, some things last and others... I am renovating a house built in 1858, when this area was first settled, trying to make it last another 150 years, and no doubt they will still be listening to Mozart.

Q: actually I wonder what's so exciting about this ancient music you hear ? ;) A: Because I'm interested in origins, I started listening when I became a fan of Dead Can Dance. You can hear strains of Mozart's Requiem in Radiohead's Paranoid Android. A think there are parallels between ancient music and slowed-down/post-rock bands like Sigur Ros and Mum. I could go on, but I don't want you to be sorry you asked :)

Hello! If you like Queens Of The Stone Age you should give Brant Bjork a listen! He used to be in the band Kyuss with Josh Homme from Queens..

Hi Monika, thanks for listening and for your shout. You have some music here that I love and some that I still haven't discovered and plan to listen. Stop by any time :)))

Hi nomonisia, you have a great library. Jane's Addiction, The Spiders From Mars, Morrissey... these are some of my favorites! Here's a minimalist piano version of the Radiohead song Let Down Hope you like it:) jamesxvi
